Don't stress stress has been proven to lead to weight gain.
First off, I am a HUGE proponent of first finding the lifestyle changes that fit YOU. These are different for everyone. If you have eating disorder tendencies...will you benefit more or less from counting calories or a weight watchers-type program??? It may help to use a program like that to make sure you aren;t under-eating...but assess yourself & decide from there. Like someone mentioned, undereating is just gonna slow your metabolism down & make your body store everything like crazy.
What kind of exercise do you like? Do you have comcast or cable on-demand? If so, exercise tv is practically the most amazing thing ever invented...tons of good workouts that you can do in your living room (if you like harder-core workouts, I'll tell ya which ones I do!)
someone mentioned spark people...its an awesome free website. Has free calorie counters & a forum.
As for healthy meals...veggies & chicken are a great way to go. When you use sauces, make sure you are looking at the calories!!! Same goes for dressings - however, you should be getting 20-30% of fat from your diet, so I like using healthy oils as dressings.
Do you eat breakfast? If you eat cereal - examine the sugar content...if its more than 5g, I say ditch it. High protein, high fiber is best. Just make sure you look at serving size, cause granola is like a freakin teaspoon and 300 cals (ok, exaggerating...) My usual breakfast is plain yogurt w/some jam (to control the sugar) & fruit & cereal to top it off.
I could go on for like hours, so yahh, i'll stop now...but you will be just fine You say your tummy is still flat, so dont try to lose that much in a month...you'll only set yourself up for future failure. Seriously girl, you're gorgeous...everything will be just fine
