Vibes for Tilly

She has an appointment at the vets tomorrow morning. She's been coughing for the past few days. At first I thought she might have caught kennel cough and was hoping it would pass but it hasn't. It gets worst at night and when she's stressed. It a dry hacking cough. Oddly enough, this time of the evening, after her dinner, is when she seems to be doing better. But then it starts off again during the night.

I'm afraid that's it's her heart. I don't know why, I just have an awful feeling at the pit of my stomach.

Please keep her in your thoughts.

She started coughing aging all night, poor baby must be so tired. She's going in at 930am eastern time.

Steve, my husband, just came and got her. I'm in the shop right now, just finished grooming one dog, and expecting two more soon. I wish I was with them, the phone will be by my side. This is Steve's first time at the vet, I'm the one who usually brings them in. But the only time they had was this morning or later this afternoon. I could have done the one this afternoon but they couldn't guaranty that she could get an xray, if needed, this afternoon. Plus Tilly has always been Steve's heart-dog, and really think it's good that he's there with her. I had a list of things for him to mention to the vet.

I'm rambling, I'm nervous. lol

Update?? I hope everything went smooth!! I worry when Matt takes the animals to the vet too...even though I know he's perfectly capable lol.

Shoot had something all written up and then it went away.

Glad to be back on, couldn't earlier to give the wonderful news.

Her heart sounded very good, and her xrayed showed a good heart and lung. The vet said beside the cough, she was in good health. I was so excited when Steve told me this over the phone.

They think it might be a bug like kennel cough. She prescribed her some clavamox and hyrocodone syrup for cough suppressant. She said that in the suppressant that there was a bit of sedative in there so hopefully she'll get a good night sleep tonight.
