Thank you......I really hope your right. I've seen so many dogs get hit by cars and I won't be able to forgive myself if they are hurt.

My friend has two big dogs already, but they all get along fine I just don't know if they would be willing to take them for a little while. She has a pretty big house and a large yard and her family loves dogs, but four dogs is alot, but I'll beg her and see how it goes.

Are there places you take Lucas and Chloe that they particularly like to go? Maybe a route you walk with them? And it's possible they were chasing a raccoon or something too, and got caught up in the hunt.

I'll bet there's a good chance that your friend's parents will help you out with Lucas and Chloe if they understand the situation, especially since you're going to be working and can pay for their food and things they might need.

I bring them to the park behind my house, around the neighborhood, or to this park alot of people bring their dogs, but I searched all those places and asked people if they have seen them and put fliers up all over those places. There isn't any other place I can think of that we go that I haven't searched and put fliers up at. Chloe doesn't really chase the racoons, but lucas does! He loves chasing them, but he never dug out to get them before! He chases them up a tree or across to the fence and then just looses interest when they run away, so I don't think he was chases them, but it is a possibility. I think they were looking for me because I have been either at my cousins or friends house (I sorta got kicked out for a little while).
I would deffienetly pay for anything my dogs needed and take them for tons of walks and play time and bathe them and do whatever they wanted if they could keep them! I would even take their dogs out and take care of them if they would let Lucas and Chloe stay with them!!
I asked them, but the father is at work and they need to talk it over as a family first, which I understand, but the kids (they have 4) are very happy. They want them to come over, but like I said the parents have to talk about it first.

Oh the place people bring their dogs has a lot of woods and trails people go walking in and I bring my dogs up there sometimes, so I went and posted some fliers in there, but I couldn't walk into the entire thing so maybe they are in there somewhere. It's not that big (not like a giant forest) but it is bigger than I could look through so maybe they will turn up tomorrow!

I hope they are enjoying worryeing me to death!!! I can already see the gray hairs! Ok trying to calm down.....I'm gonna try to get some sleep right now. That way I will be sharp tomorrow! Luckily I worked really reallly hard on their recalls and they are both at almost 100% (Like 99.5%). Sometimes I have to say it twice (like once every 10 recalls), but by the second time they are darting back to me to get something yummy!
Ok.....breath......going to try to get soem sleep now.....thank you for the prayers and thoughts and crossed fingers, or body parts .

I still haven't found them but a few people called telling me they saw them and they looked fine. They said they were together and they looked a bit scared. One lady called and said that they ran up and greeted her and played with her dog for a little while, but she went to call the number on their collars, but they ran away when she went inside. She lived a ways away from me so they got pretty far! I'm scared that they don't know their way back home.
I've still been searching and I'm glad that the people said they seemed to be in good shape and that they were together.

On a good note my friend said that they could keep them for a while. Probably just over the summer though. As soon as school started they would have to give them back. We made an agreement that I would pay for their food (the people buy pedigree and I don't want to put them on that) and that I will come over and take them for walks and play times and do their grooming and picking up after them. They would also like it if I could walk their two dogs and pick up after them and do a little grooming. Just like brushing. Which I am totally fine with! I have absolutely no problem with this. SO that's good news.

I'm off to do some more searching. Wish me luck.
