He's here and is as cute as can be. He's been a pretty good puppy so far. he hasn't chewed up anything and is very sweet. He slept through the night (cross your fingers that it stays this way!), but does have a tendency to scream when left alone. Right now he's hanging out on a leash next to me sleeping, but even though he was tired, he couldn't bring himself to fall asleep in his little area. His new owners will need to work on that so it doesn't turn into separation anxiety. We've just been waiting until he's quiet for a second before letting him out, but this is still a strange new place to him, so I'm sure he's stressed.
Smart little guy, though. He's already learned to sit. Down will come next.
He already has an application, so won't be here for long!
Now for pics.
Boo is out getting her teeth cleaned. I felt so bad leaving her there, poor thing. They had to drag her to the back room and the assistant got a little uptight about us walking back with her (I think she was new and worried about getting in trouble, because she seemed hesitant to tell us that we couldn't come, but kind of mumbled that she could handle it without us.) Of course, as soon as she went to slid the noose leash around Boo's neck, Boo sprung backward about 5 feet... Yet was willing to follow us back. Despite the girl trying to keep us at bay in the lobby, we brought Boo back ourselves so at least they didn't have to drag her down the whole hall, just through the door into the treatment room.
I always worry about her under anesthetic, so wish her well! And if you could send "puppy, shut up while alone" vibes, that'd be nice too!
