Rosey and Finn at Hog's Back Falls - The other perspective! (Another HUGE dump)

As Jess said, Rosey and Finn and us (plus friend Jared) decided on an impromptu adventure to a park in the centre of the city. Rosey and Finn haven't gotten along in the past because Finn was a derp and Rosey was impatient with derps, but now that Finn's matured out, they got along swimmingly!

Speaking of swimming... Rosey did some of that, and I got Finn wading in the water, which is a BIG DEAL. He has this aversion to any part of him being submerged in water, and I'm slowly trying to get him into it. He seemed to like it by the end of the day!

Anyhoo. Photos. Halfway through when we met up with Jared, I threw my camera at him so he could get photos of the four of us together, which is a rare thing! (You can see him with my camera in some of Jess' photos, LOL)

Starting off.

The first time Finn braved the scary water was when Rosey slipped and fell. He checked on her. <3

This stuff is SCARY you guys.

Where we spent most of the day, it was perfect. Nice flat rocks, a shallow chasm of water for Finn to test his bravery on, and a deeper section for Rosey to swim.

...except Rosey slipped and took a full dunk into the water. We felt bad for her, but it was kinda funny too.

Rosey gets back in, Finn wusses out and stares at ducks.

He preferred the rocks.

But he DID start braving it on his own here and there, I think he found he liked how cool it was.

Watching the ducks again. He likes ducks.

Decided to take a walk in the shade to cool off and find a tree to rest under.

The dogs liked this idea.

Rosey: Dignified when wet.

Finn chilled out and shared my tortilla chips.

Rosey was quite comfy, too.

Now the photos start of all of us. Yay! Finn and I both watching ducks.

Omg I love Finn... he seriously makes so many of the same awkward faces/mannerisms that Gonzo does... it's great. Your shoes look like they'd hurt walking on rocks. Can't you feel the pointy edges through them? ahhh

Nope. I can rockwalk like a monkey with VFFs on, whereas I'm a clod in normal hiking shoes. I can grip better and the sole is juuuust thick enough that harsh corners don't hurt.
