What a great thread! The dogs look a LOT happier and healthier.....and the owners probably are too.
Here is Shadow the week I got him. He weighed under 9 pounds, skinny as a rail with a bit of a concentration camp look despite the good efforts of the shelter. He was not eating, camedown with kennel cough, not happy at all to be in a shelter cage after having a home for 12 years.
But, smiling in his first day in his new home as he checked out the digs and his new squeaky toys:
