Is there any way to pull part of this thread to be made into another, so maybe more people will see it?? Just wondering.

I am also screened and approved for another breed specific rescue group (Cherished Cockers) as well. I am willing to transport, overnight, and foster (depending on a few things; like if I already have a foster, if the dog doesn't get along with other dogs, etc). I can make phone calls or e-mails, if needed, as well.

edit: Thanks Renee!!
When I've got more concentrated time than I do right now I'll go through this thread and copy the pertinent posts and transfer them to a new thread to be posted in Rescue.

By the way, I set the map up with two different markers, one for transport and one for overnight. You can also leave more details in the box that pops up.

In regards to a fund if one was set up I would be willing to donate on a regular basis.

About 8 months ago yoshi got bloat I didn't think I could pay for it and the 160 I had wasn't enough for a down payment. Yoshi is my heart dog and I had already sold the most expensive thing I owned at that time to get that. If I could make it to payday I would have been fine.

One of the members here helped me by offering to help pay. I think a general fund to help in an extreme emergency would be an amazing thing and I would be willing to contribute a little each month.

I can transport, as far as 6 hours and one overnight within Canada or across the border depending on lead time because I work, I also would be able to overnight most dogs for a night, even if it meant a crate and rotate for mine. I could keep dogs that have no DA issues for even longer if needed.

I also would be willing to donate to a fund.

I can do short transports in the general DC area or holdovers with dogs that are not DA. I might be able to arrange something in Southern VA or Kentucky in an emergency was well.

And I will happily donate to a fund.

I dont drive or have a car. But my mom is always willing to help out, and as long as I give her gas money we could work somthing out here Im sure (so as long as it is a weekend, or a time when school is out (she is a school bus driver). I can do fostering so aslong as they are not DA/DR as I really dont have the set up of a house to deal with it. No small animal issues as well, again dont have the proper lay out of a house to deal with that as well. But otherwise, if ever in Ontario (toronto area and beyond) I can help and will help.

I think its a great idea to try and set this all up. We should name it somthing with Reggins name in it for a memory of him, as he is really the dog who got this ball rolling

I just looked through all of the dogs up for adoption in the state of Washington on PETFINDER.COM and did not see Reggin anywhere in it...
