Okay I know there are more puppies (under a year) on here, but all I can think of is Charlie and Payton!

Any new photos? Cool things your puppies are doing?

I'm gonna get some new photos of the dogs today. Charlie is mastering not jumping up and chilling for stuff, sit, and most recently down. Also shaping her retrieve to give the toy to me in my hand - right now I'm still mostly getting forehead LOL

I like this thread, even though I'm puppyless!

More pictures of Menchi, please. Also, Meg's new little brother (sorry, can't remember her owner's name or username *blushes* and I never did find out if she named puppy!) and a bunch of puppies belonging to posters who don't post nearly enough....

I totally clicked on this thread and thought "I hope Menchi pictures come quick.." and lo and behold!

I love your dog, Moth. <3

Also Meg's brothers name is Gusto! I think her username is BostonBanker?? idk.

Keegan's 10 months and still very much a puppy.... More like a teenager, actually. He has tons of energy, needs a lot of exercise and stimulation, and he still - though to a lesser degree than when he was a baby - worships me. :)

The other night was the first night he actually slept on my bed with me. All of my friends think he's been sleeping in my bed from day 1, but they don't realize 1.) he is very wiggly, 2.) if he notices I'm awake he'll stand there and stare at me, which is really unnerving, and 3.) my bed's not all that big in the first place. But he was particularly tired that night and he did pretty well.

Picture!

This was actually a few months ago, but from the picture you can't really tell how much he's changed. :)

Yup, he is officially Gusto, and it is about the most ideal name I could imagine for him! He is a huge change from Meg! Zero fear about anything, and with the complete certainty that the world owes him something:p. He is going to be one heck of a fun sport dog if we survive the first year!

We are off to a day long puppy foundations seminar next Sunday for agility. I've been hesitant to do much foundations myself yet, as he is my first puppy and such a different dog than I'm used to. So I'm very excited to have someone help. We've done some little stuff during Meg's agility classes - restrained recalls, he's seen a chute and a tunnel - and he encountered his first teeter by accident, and thought it was the Best Toy Ever.

I'll post some pictures later today when I'm back from work. I took my camera hiking with us yesterday, but we were in the woods most of the time, so it was really too dark to get much.

Cricket is right around the year mark now or soon anyways.

I have some new pics but my phone isn't letting me post them right now for some reason. We're getting ready to start some new classes and work towards a CGC. Also she is going to be starting Agility classes soon as well.

Right now Cricket is in heat and being a royal pain in the neck. She's lucky I love her so much.

Not much of a puppy anymore on the outside...

But definitely still a BAD little puppy on the inside!

I can't wait 'til she hits the 2 year mark. I pray she's like Holly, and actually begins to calm down when she grows up. She's a real pain in my ass, but I love her a great deal, and can't stay mad at this face too long...:)

I need to wait until I have more time to edit the rest of the pictures, but here are a few newer ones of Gusto; a couple from last week, a couple from yesterday. He is still pretty tiny (12.6 lbs at 16-ish weeks) but suddenly grew these ridiculously long legs!

Most of the times the ears are half-up:

But every once in a while, they go the entire way up:

Big sister showing him how to pose:

I just love the way his structure is going. His sisters were such beefcakes, that I wasn't sure if he'd get really stocky as he got healthier. But he's just long and lean and as fast as anything:

Pixel is around 6 months now, but I'm terrible at keeping a camera around so I need to get new pictures of The Pig. These range from the car ride home from the shelter up to about a month and a half ago. She's currently in a family dog/basic manners class and we'll be starting agility classes once the instructor finishes designing the new program next month.

Driving home from the shelter, when she was still just a foster

I should have known that it would be hard to give this face up

She outgrew that cat collar pretty quickly, part of me misses having a bell on her

Her ears have changed quite a bit from when I brought her home. I think this stage was my favorite.

Bear definitely did not like Pig when she first got here. He has since found that she makes a decent pillow.

She's very cat-like at times, she perches on anything she can

Well Squash is 9ish months old...

Still a puppy, although he dwarfs his sister:

And can finally outrun her in a game of chase:

Jolly puppy:

Silly boy:

His ear experimented with being up the other night:

And he's experimenting with alternative sleeping arrangements:

My favourite pic of Aura that I took last weekend. Such a fun loving, happy girl all of the time!

She's 23 weeks old, 20" tall and 32lbs in this picture. She's growing up too fast and I want another puppy already LOL!

Payton has been here a month now, is fully vaccinated, had his first trip to PetSmart where whenever somebody saw him said "she" is so cute, and one of the PetSmart employees asked me if he was a "mini or a full," to which I flatly replied "he's a sheltie." His response was "So he's..." and then he trailed off. I don't think he understood my answer.
I'm working on getting him to offer me behaviours and become more clicker-savvy so I can start doing some other fun things besides just working on our basics.
He loves to tug and I can't wait for those darn baby teeth to fall out so we can have a really good game.
