I'm always interested to see where people come from, and I will often google places just to see what it looks like.

If you want to share where you live, stick a pic up here.

This is the place I was born, and my family live - the town centre is small. It's a historic market town.

Here's a postcard I found lol

This is where I am currently living - very built up in some areas, and rural (ish) in others. Urban sprawl and right next to Liverpool (10 min drive, literally). A peninsula so lots of beaches - good for walking, the dog :)

You've seen pics of Wales, but this is the village I am often in ;) OH's house is on the left lol

And inside the local pub!

Good idea I would like to see what it looks like where chazzers come from. I would really like anyone from Costa Rica or El Salvador to post.

Cool pictures, I would like to visit that part of the world again if I only had lots of time and money.

This is from my front porch

And this is toward my front porch as it was being built.

Ten miles south. Looking from that point you see the town nearest my home.

This is where I grew up.... Cedar Rapids IA. One of the only cities in the world whose government offices are on an island.

But this is what the city is famous for....

... and the reason why a large part of the city still looks like this. Ruined, abandoned... a ghost town. Way to go, FEMA.

On a lighter note, this is where I live now. Quintessential small-town Iowa. :)

YUP baby is baked inside , and whom ever gets the baby has to bring the next king cake to the party. king cakes are only sold during the mardi gras season here.
which started on jan 6 and goes until fat tuesday which moves each year . the way it is determined is it is the last tuesday before the lent season.
I actually just got done eating the last piece of my first kingcake this season. I did not get the baby though!

and at the Audubon Zoo swamp exzibit , they have a swamp monster that scares my kids each time we go!

and the zoo , how could i forget the zoo. it is spectacular.

Mmm I want king Cake

I live here now:

Quintessential boring Oklahoma. The scenery is flat and completely dead this time of year. About the only things here are cows and coyotes. Oh and tornados...

Here's the big one I went through 2 years ago (I think I posted on Chaz during it actually cause it was terrifying)

This is the normal landscape and these storms come up pretty fast:

Here's OKC, only a short drive away:

I do love it here though. I'm definitely NOT a city type person so cows and open fields are just fine with me. ;)

Always amazes me all the big cities. Most countries have one big BIG city and that's the capital, but in the US there are literally hundreds of massive cities.

I grew up here:

One of the only fully planned towns in the country. I hate it. Its stifling and there's no nature or space. Too many people in too tight of quarters. And the landscape is perfectly manicured everywhere. Drives me batty and after about 10 minutes, I'm ready to go somewhere real. It's like a real life Pleasantville.

Anadarko's Tower, which dominates the landscape. (blegh)

And here's where I lived for 5 years but just moved from (College Station, Texas):

The end of my street was this:

The bar scene in town LOL. The Dixie Chicken is THE place to go:

And these guys are everywhere:

I miss it. I really do.
