Well I finally got around to taking some pictures of Max. He doesn't like doing things for the camera, so we'll see if I can get some candid photos of him at some point.

Cherish his puppyhood. It can be annoying at the time, but yeesh, Corgi puppies are the cutest beings to ever walk the earth. : D

I didn't realize he was a sable. His coloring is stunning. I can't wait to see it change as he grows up!

Yup, Max is a sable. He's actually a Tri-colored, with a black strip running down his back. The breeder said that will go away as he ages, and I can already see more orange/yellow coming through it. Surprisingly, he was the last to sell from the breeder because she said people "didn't think he had enough coloring." I think he's got plenty, and he'll be great once he gets older. I can't wait for that 6 month mark, when his true colors will really come through.

He is so cute. Sometimes the cutest are the last left in the litter. Regis was also a "litter leftover"

Wow... I've never seen such a light Tri before! That's awesome. Max is very unique. : )

Do you think he'll be a redhead? Fozzie turned into a redhead. It's crazy to even think that he used to have a totally black head... but I really like redheaded Corgis, so I'm glad.

I definitely think he's going to be a redhead. Most of the black is growing out of him, and there's a lot of red coming in already. Even the black stripe on his back is growing into red, so he'll probably be a full sable. He's gonna be a really red corgi, because he's got very little white on him. I can't wait to see him grow into his adult colors.

He is SO snugglable. MY GOD. He looks like he has a really sassy personality, that's my favorite thing about Corgis. I love the stripe down his back. That is so rad.

Fozzie had the same collar when he was little. You have excellent taste, obviously.

Thanks, I try to have good taste when I can.

Sassy definitely describes his personality. He does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn't really listen to me, unless I have food or a treat of some kind.

I gave him a good brushing the other night, and the black stripe is kind of going away, but there's more black coming in on his sides, so I dunno what he's gonna look like when he gets older. It'll be interesting to see.
