I mourn for timmy's lol.
*ships Timmie's*

They need to bring back chicken stew in a bread bowl. That was the ultimate, ultimate winter comfort food.

I think it's highly irresponsible for a parent to keep eating while their kid is throwing a screaming fit in a restaurant. Generally a parent would leave with that child until they calm down. And I've never heard of a court order saying where a kid needs to eat....if he needs a quiet place to eat healthy food, he should be eating at home.
Grab, when it was accused that said child was not being fed, yes, he is too eat on demand. And it's not that he throws a fit, he screeches, as is his favorite past time and will even do so as shoving food in his mouth. And having no vehicle right now, my caseworker drives me places. If I were to tell her after spending an hour long trip there, another hour in the doctors office, that I wouldn't take him out to eat because someone may be offended...there would be hell to pay and me and my children would be paying it.

I also have a special needs child. I don't see how that is the problem of waitstaff and especially other diners. I think if your child makes a mess and screams loudly in restaurants you should feed him at home or only at restaurants specifically geared for children, and loud ones at that. People like you help foster resentment about disabled people by showing them in the worst possible light.
:hail::hail::hail::hail::hail:

Taking a snack for when you're out shouldn't be that difficult. He's one year old. I mean, really? ****, I keep a bag of freeze-dried toddler corn in my car for when I'm hungry and don't have time to stop. Surely there's something you can bring along for your 1-year-old to eat, ESPECIALLY if you know you'll be away from home.

Yea, sure, I can carry a snack but a full blown meal? No. Why? Because in my caseworkers words "It can spoil in the heat." Tried that.

Ever heard of a cooler, ice packs, canned/jarred foods, freeze-dried foods?

If you INSIST on taking a screaming child into a restaurant, it is your responsibility to take the child out until he can be quiet.

Cooler. Ice.

Food that wont spoil, such as canned goods. (Cold tomato soup and cheeze-its is pretty decent.)

Have you REALLY never heard of stuff like that?

My point is that some situations cannot be avoided, plain and simple. If my circumstances were different, I would leave the restaurant however, they aren't. Honestly, a couple of times I felt like crawling under the table and leaving my caseworker to look like the "bad" person but unfortunately, such is life and as said before, things sometimes happen that aren't preventable. If it had been my child she had done that to, I'd had probably have went off on her.

Most restaurants will make something to go, so you wouldn't have to ruin everybody else's meal.

Have you ever heard of these people have me on a thin sheet of ice and sliding. They have to see that I can provide for my children financially, feed them properly, know what is okay and what is not. I want them out of my home as soon as possible. I'm sure you would too. Either way, I've said my two cents and I'm done here. Have fun trash talking me in chat as you do many other members, I'm sorry people cannot understand life.

I'd love for you all to walk in my shoes for a day and lose every **** right you've worked hard for your life. Including your dogs...I came here tonight to find someone to talk to because I'm having a hell of a hard time right now, instead I found a thread that severely irritated me. And all went down hill...again...such is life...F it.

No better way to get fat than on fresh timbits... my favorites are those kinda eggy, spongey ones.

And the iced drinks are a way better deal than Starbucks.

Well, it was always a seasonal thing... but I haven't seen it in a few years. :( So sad.

And yes, ice caps are so full of win. Chocolate milk caps are the best!

If the situation's that serious, you shouldn't be posting about it on a public message board in the first place. It's unwise.

Second, everyone said what they had to say directly to you already. You're the one who came in and started looking for a fight and accusing us of trash talking people.

I think you taking a break and cooling down is a really, really good idea.

And. . . Starbucks? A good deal? Haha.

Hmmm, this is interesting...50 lb four year olds? Hell my 10 year old sister is only 60 lbs....my 3 year old TODDLER is only 26 lbs. Both healthy as far as their doctors are concerned. Furthermore, not all 4 year olds talk in complete sentences and for that matter (not in this case) It isn't always the parents fault. Have you ever attempted to take care of a special needs child? Because you know had it been a special needs child would everyone be saying the same things? I'm sure they would.

And you know a few bad manners and all the sudden the parents are dog crap and shouldn't reproduce? You people are honestly insane. Especially with some of the things you expect from YOUNG children. Some parents, honestly have children who take more time to learn and just don't listen...doesn't mean they ARENT good parents folks...****, we were all kids at one point, so lets think back shall we.
I have worked in daycares, taught at private schools, public schools, pre-schools, and as a private nanny since I was 15. And I have spent A LOT of time working with A LOT children who have autism, among other issues. And I have seen A LOT of 4 year olds who were "big" (as in, 50 lbs or so). My own daughter is 2 and a half and she weighs 38 already. I never said ALL 4 year olds, I said it isn't uncommon. And it's not.

I love kids. I don't think what Fran did was wrong. I do think the parents set their child up for failure and I really question why they thought it was okay to teach him to hug strangers. That's their deal though. If I'm working with my students or kids I'm being paid to take care of, then I'll happily be barfed on (it happens 5-6 times a day right now), snot smeared, etc. Whatever. That's my job and I don't hold it against the kids. If your job isn't to handle kids though, and you're not equipped either in attire or emotionally to handle them acting up, you really shouldn't have to.
