I think it is totally possible Skittle..........10lbs in a month? You are young and should be able to do it. I don't say that to be condescending, I say it because speaking from experience, I could lose weight much quicker/easier when I was younger. That doesn't mean it was EASY at any age..........just easier than it is NOW! hahahaha

I have always been on the "thicker" side, so I have been a yo yo my whole life, DRAT my slow metabolism...........and it's only getting slower with age :(

Alrighty... down another 2lbs.

Here's my goal. I want to lose approx 10 pounds give or take before September 27th. I'm going to a wedding and would like to look good in a dress maybe... think this is possible?
Absolutely. Its REALLY easy for someone starting from scratch or who is on the heavier side. If you're smaller already, that might be harder to do.

10 lbs in a month is a lot to lose. Can you do it? Yes, most likely. Should you lose that much in a month? Probably not. I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, but that's a lot more than recommended weight loss per week.

Really? I thought between 1 and 2 a week was good and up to 3?

I have just started back, but I do have a lot to loose, I am down 8.5 so far.

Skittle you can do it!!

I had a stall out for a couple of weeks and after talking with my dietician and my WW leader, I realized that I was actually not eating ENOUGH!!:yikes: I was starving my body and making it cling to every last calorie and as soon as I ate more (proper) I lost 3.5lbs in a week!! My biggest issue is when on the road if I can't find things that seem ok I just don't eat... I have learned to really prepare for trips.

Sorta on/off topic.. LOL Does anyone watch The Biggest Loser?

I got my dad's VitaMix out. I remembered that one of the things I did when I was bodybuilding and needed to cut a little was to do fresh mixed juice once or twice a day in addition to a couple of light meals.

Well I gained almost 10 pounds in one month due to stress and taking meds.
But I have lost 6 of those 10, and have about an additional 20 to lose!
I have to lose at least 10-15 by Jan. because I am getting my winter senior portraits done mid-January.

I'm only at 154 lbs now. It's been going slower lately, but it's still going at a good rate (.5-1 lb a week) so I'm happy.

I gained a little bit back, but I'm back in the game again. I started taking Super B Complex to help convert my food into energy because I've been so tired and too lazy to work out... hoping the added energy will help me to get my butt up and really work out.

down 14.5 now, slow but steady, average about 1.5 lbs a week!! Fell off track a tad during my vacation in NC (( Good food, YUMMY biscuits and HUSH PUPPIES!!!)) but back on plan now, 20 lbs will be my first goal then I'll pick a new one.

I'm down 42.5 lbs now. Slow going these days since Im getting close to a healthy weight, but I can't believe how far I've come! I've always tried losing weight before and could never lose more than 5-10 lbs. It wasn't even hard this time, lol! Just 10 lbs until I'm at my initial goal. We'll go from there, but I'm short and stocky so it probably won't be too much more to go. Exciting! :D
