New and in need of advice

My mom's st benard puppy chewed the legs on her bed so she took large glass jars and put one over each leg...that stopped it..it was hard for a dog to outwit my mom! That was before the days of bitter apple.

I've been so lucky !!! My last chewer was in the 70s.....each generation has taught the next . I almost missed the waste basket raiders !!

lol, I dont think I could stand my dog chewing up my new bed. Although the legs are chrome and he probably wouldnt get far. Good news guys, there is another chi at the same shelter that I'm considering adopting. His name is midnight and he is 7 years old. It seems I've aquired a thing for chihuahuas.

Oy yeah, I forgot to mention, the shelter was on the news today. It seems like after all the e-mails, they tried to redeem their pride on the local news. Talking about how they rescue animals this and that, and showing pics of lonely animals that need adoption. Anyways, I just wanted to thank every one who took the time to write an e-mail on my behalf, thank you, I believe you've made a difference.

I dont know. I was in my room, when my mom called me. She flipped the channel and happened to catch the report. I dont know if the emails were refferred to, but I think they inspired the report.

I GOT MY DOG!!!! Shes a welsh corgi named peanut. Shes one year old had all her shots and is spayed. I went to see the humane society people in person and I made them look up my application. The lady could see we were kinda pissed and accepted my friend Dan as a reference(even though hes 15). I stopped off at a petshop and pickep up a collar, leash, toys, treats, food, yadda,yadda,yadda. I'm picking her up tomorrow after school.
