Right now she's claiming she wants to remain "anonymous", however I'm sure that will end soon.
As for publicity, she's already received a lifetime supply of diapers, a lifetime supply of formula, and who knows what else is in the works.
But here's my problem with it all:
If she doesn't have a problem getting pregnant, then why the risk of fertility drugs? Why risk a child's wellbeing? Prematurity is often accompanied by a variety of negative effects even if they aren't severe. Low birth weight babies are often accompanied by a variety of negative health effects. Why risk that?
I don't know what her intentions were so I don't want to rush the gun here, but there's not a chance I would have done something like that without a husband/partner for support and the strong desire to raise a family on my own. Children are not meal tickets (despite what our government says). Children aren't cute little status symbols. They are children. They are to be loved and guided through this world so they can one day support themselves, make a life for themselves, and contribute back to society in various ways. A parent's goal is to do this no matter the cost and no matter the toll it takes on the parent's social life. IMO, once a child is born, that child comes first. But a child is never a publicity stunt.
