Is she really super friendly? A dog that looks like that...I think many people would be inclined to keep, sadly. I would tailor your posters/ads to reflect that possibility by asking people to keep an eye out for any new dogs their neighbours suddenly have. The pink hair should be a good way for people to identify her.
I hope she's just lost and makes her way home. Or I hope she is turned over to the pound and you get a phone call really soon.

I don't remember if you said this, but is it possible for you to contact the rescues in your area and surrounding area? I'd even be willing, if you give me a list of rescues, to send a few emails so they will be on the look out for your girl. I could give them your email address, phone number, and send a picture of her to the rescues.

I put up more posters today. I put them all over the place. At grocery stores, every petsore in the area, Shelby's old vet and even the animal hospital Bandit stayed at when he was ill recently with his intestine infection. No luck though. No one had seen her.
BUT I got a call from a girl who works at the animal hospital. THEY'VE HAD MILEY SINCE 11:00 PM on the 25th. A half an hour since she went missing! The person who dropped her off sent her there because it's open 24/7 and they really didn't want to take her to the SPCA. The animal hospital is willing to hold dogs if they have room for up to two weeks before surrendering them to the SPCA. Even though I had gone in there and asked if they had seen her they didn't put two and two together because in the picture her hair was a bit longer than it is now (my friend printed out the lost ads for me).
and the only reason she noticed is because she has pink hair. Miley is never not having pink hair now. It was her savior.

I can't even tell you guys how happy I am. I was crying my eyes out when I got her home hugging her and kissing her. The staff at the animal hospital said I have the most well mannered dogs in the world. They've had both Bandit and Miley in their custody now. Let's hope they never have a reason to have to keep Spanky over night.
