I've known Zara since she was 5 months old, and now she's come to live with us :) She's Emma's sister and only littermate.

Her owner flew with her from California today to hand deliver her to me. We've had this planned for almost a year.

I am AMAZED at how similar they are so far. Emma is a little rocket ship- she's constantly jumping on top of the couch and giving me at least 5 heart attacks a week. I knew Zara was the same way from talking to her owner, but tonight she's already jumping on top of the couch. Haha.

Anyway, here's a quick picture of her. I'll take out my Nikon and get some better pictures of everyone this weekend. For now, I'm exhausted!

Thanks!

Zara is settling in well :) She's still unsure of everything, but is super sweet and hasn't had a single accident in the house! She LOVES food (so she fits in well) and hasn't turned down a meal.

I'm going to take a million pictures this weekend. We're just going to be hanging out around the house and getting used to the new dynamic she added to our family.

So excited for you. I was wondering what had happened with this situation and wondered if you were still getting her. She is beautiful.

1) I love her.
2) you need a new siggie
3) has she met the tornado that is Rory yet? Does she hate him? LOL
She's such a good dog! I keep calling her Emma by mistake  Her coat is shorter than Emma's at the moment (she's still getting back to her "pre baby" body) and she's a little bit darker, but they look SO similar.

She actually doesn't mind Rory- I was a little worried at first but they're being very civil! It's been WAY too easy. I just brought them all outside yesterday after I gave her some alone time, and they were fine. They're used to other dogs being in the house somewhat, but they took to Zara really easily.

So excited for you. I was wondering what had happened with this situation and wondered if you were still getting her. She is beautiful.
It ended up being more of a long term plan. I have been in contact with her owner since she was under a year old. Zara went to live in California in a show home at 5 months old, at the same time I brought home Emma. She was very loved and slept in her owner's bed every night as well. Zara's owner described her personality to be so much like Emma's. She is always at the top of the couch, she's crazy and very high energy, she loves bigger dogs, etc, etc.

I'm still SO amazed at how much they are alike. Emma is the BEST dog in the entire world and I've never clicked so well with a dog before. I had to take her sister because it was a once in a lifetime chance :)

Aww, she looks like a sweetheart. How'd you happen into getting her? :)
