Okay, if you won $1.000.000.00 what would you do with it???

How many dogs would you buy?

How much of it would be directed to the SPCA, Pet Rescue, or the Human Homeless?

How many dogs would I buy? None
How much would be directed towards an animal rescue? I don't know--I support all kinds of causes, so I'd money where I felt it would do the most good.

If I had a million dollars, half of it would go to Uncle Sam ;) Then I'd buy a house, and invest the rest (if there was any left!) so hubby and I could retire early. I really don't think my lifestyle would change all that much, to be honest!

One, I wouldn't get another dog. Nope, that will wait for a few more years.

Two, it wouldn't all be spent on the dogs. Most of it would go into savings for my future.

Three, what I didn't put into savings would be spent on a car to take me places and on investing in Blaze's herding training (lessons, clinics, trials, GAS lol).

Sorry, while I think it's great to donate, I'd rather help "in person" than donate to a shelter I have no idea about.

i wouldn't buy another dog but i'd love to buy a bigger house with enough property to have a fenced yard plus a separate agility area. and a bigger vehicle for transporting these beasts.

i'd give some money at least to the shelter where i got harv because i think they do really good work and they can certainly use it. and to bad rap, because they just straight up rock.

Well, after taxes, it would be about $500,000. About $100,000 would go to buy a house because my current housing situation is pretty awful. Another $20,000 or so to buy a new car because mine's old and tired. Maybe $1,000 on some new clothes -- I desperately need some new clothes.

The rest would go into savings or investing.

I donate a few thousand to FOHA, save some for me, and put the rest into various types of savings accounts. I wouldn't touch much of it now, honestly.

Wow, we all have different views.. As for me I would send $100.000.00 to the store house or better known as my church..Purchase the house of my dreams, place more than half of it in a trust fund for my kids then donate what I could to those in need..

I know this much if you place a fair amount towards non-profit orgs Uncle Sam will pay you back.. So yeah I would forward alot to those in need

But a small farm and do my own rescue. Put what I could in the bank.

I don't NEED any more dogs at the moment. But I would keep fostering.

I would buy a new overpriced horse and car though. There are like ten breeds I keep going back and forth with with the horses so no clue what I'd get.

Pay off all my bills firstly, then I would buy a house on some land and put up a really good fence, set up a couple of my friends in the style they need to be living in, and invest the rest and live off the interest. I'd buy a couple of unnecessary things like a motorcycle and ATV. I would probably buy a dog but only because those are my plans anyway regardless of winning a million bucks or not.

I would donate a good chunk to the local shelter I've rescued two dogs from...it's in horrible condition and needs to be rebuilt.

I would get the one additional dog that I've been planning on for a while now.

A decent chunk would go to the shelter in WV that housed Meg until she came to Vermont, and an even better chunk would go to the rescue here in VT that got Meg to me.

I'd buy a piece of land near the barn where Tristan lives, put up a modest house and barn, then bring him home, but still take him back there for lessons etc. I wouldn't buy a second horse, but would find a ready-to-retire old schoolie or trail horse to come live with him. It would take more than 1 million for me to go out seeking another horse for myself, but if I had it, I would look for a really nice 3 year old and send it to my friend for training for a couple of years.

Not much else would change, except I just wouldn't have to worry so much.

1M is not that much money these days, unfortunately.

I would get out of debt and invest the rest.

I would donate to my rescue, HIRE the BEST lawyer in the world and feel free to create websites to educate buyers on the truth behind dog breeding.
I would hire a fulltime horse girl so I can go on vacation.
This would require building her a house on my property.
I would run Molosser dogs shows thru out the USA bringing in the top experts.
I would take full page adds out like the Leonberger clubs trying to reduce rescue.

Dont think I would buy any dogs since I am full and I want each dog to see me and kiss me each and every day. More dogs would mean hiring fulltime help.

I would pay the house off so my hubby can retire from working to pay for my very costly dog breeding hobby. So I could travel the country visiting each and every dog I have ever bred.

Ok I think I just spent it all..

I would stick with the dogs i have. I am truly a 2 dog person. (or at least 2 young dogs nad one really really old one) THen i would investigate where the money could be put to the best use for rescue. I don't have the energy anymore to get more involved then that.

I would put enough away to pay for college, some in savings, buy me a car, buy my dad a truck, pay for my own stuff (cell, clothes, etcetc), and then I'd go on a $1000 shopping spree. I need more pants, socks, and bras. lol :D

Go to school, pay my living costs while I finish school, and put the rest in savings. I would probably buy a third dog eventually, but I am already planning on that someday in the far future.

Wouldn't buy another dog anytime soon, but I'd buy a nice piece of property with a decent house and the space for some sheep and an agility course.

Hmmmmmm, like Red said, 1m isn't a whole lot of money these days. I know I could quit my job and stay home, but Kevin couldn't quit his job for that much. The medical benefits from his job alone would keep him there.

Top off the kids' college funds first and foremost.

Definitely get rid of this house in town and buy at least 9-10 acres. Already have the area picked out an everything :p I could see myself adding at least one more dog to the crew..........possibly 2. Since I wouldn't be "working" and the kids are in school all day, I would get more involved in local shelters as far as time and money, fund raising, etc.

I would totally love to have a huge garden, can/freeze nearly everything we need so I am sure of exactly what we are eating. Go total organic with our meats as well. I would like to have our own chickens too but Kevin says NOWAY........he hates chickens, ducks, turkeys, nearly any bird you can think of, LOL.......so that would be out.
