If you had to pick strictly on looks

Saluki. Borzoi. Afghan Hound. These three are pretty much equal.

Next comes a well-bred, cropped and docked Doberman.. preferably red or black.

Next we have foxhounds. I have a sad, sad obsession for these dogs.. who could *not* love a breed that is so stunning and comes in so many colors?

Other than that, I love the mastiffy look...

Well, I would have to go with the American Bulldog. Great looks, physically dommineering and an all around beautiful dog.

Oh, I have to add to mine. I agree with RD about black standard poodles- those are some stunning looking dogs too. Any cut works for me. And I forgot to mention, I think a nicely bred, nicely groomed sheltie is among the most beautiful of dog breeds. And as I said before, Ibizan hounds are my favorite breed looks wise. Borzois are pretty stunning too.

I would have to say the Great Dane. I still absolutely LOVE their temperment, even size, but I'm sure my MOM doesn't appreciate the size!!

Either that or an English Springer Spaniel. LOVE the look, but a little bit too active for me!!

I still want a newfie one day, they would be good dogs for me too... probably won't happen though.

I'd definately have to go with a well bred Flatcoated Retriever, I've adored that breed for several years. But I do love the looks of the Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands as well.

Oh Geez, too many to list...

Um, a couple off the top of my head:

I will always think Great Danes are the most magnificent dogs ever....but I'm a TAD biased.

A black or grey uncropped Briard or a cropped fawn Briard since grooming isn't an issue in this fantasy thread.

Ovcharkas will always be up high on my list

Filas especially the fawns with black masks

I also like a nicely bred Giant Schnauzer, prefer the blacks to the salt and peppers.

Ummmm....I think that's it for now, I'm sure I can think of a few more.
