If they had been a spring litter instead, I'd have been really interested.
That would have been so cool! I decided that if I really wanted something different, I should probably get something other than a different variety of Belgian. Iceman is a really nice dog though!

Whoa! Laekens so close? *Bookmarked*

For my imaginary tomorrow dog, it would be another Dantero Malinois, preferably a son of Harry's brother.
I've watched Emerie for years and thought seriously about a puppy from her. I adore everything that is "her!"

Well if this where in a perfect dream world if would be a collie. Rough or tri any darn color at this point I don't care. I just miss having one around so much but I am going back to school next fall and Radar is still a pup so that wont be happening for around two-three years. Plus from walking Duke I have learned its a total PITA to walk big dogs in the city so I would want a larger yard and more time for hikes.

So if this was actually tomorrow and not fantasy tomorrow I would go with a big mini poodle (15in) or a small standard (like 20-22 inches) or another little terrier I would love a female cairn or Border terrier, Radar loves playing with other little terriers and I have some girl names I would love to use, and I could buy pink things and....I need to stop thinking about this.

I'm with filarotten - stuffed dog here, too. I'd go certifiably insane with 5 dogs...

That being said, when we lose a dog (hopefully not for at least 10 years), I'm probably going to go with a male malinois, probably from Stephanie again if she's still breeding dogs like Aeri. ;)

Changed my mind...

This dog:

I really don't know why but he's really calling to me. Good thing he's in another country and a LONG ways away. It's killing me.

Anyone in Canada looking for a papillon? :lol-sign:

Oh my goodness. Those ears. *dies*

I'd be getting either a gangly little Border Collie with a nearly all black coat or a red pit bull with an infectious smile.

An american pit bull terrier or light-boned, less bully/bulky american staffordshire terrier - or a staffordshire bull terrier - I'm stuck btwn the two and would probably get the pit since I'd want to adopt.

Just want to say that I thought I know at least in name about a lot of dog breeds but you guys have named several that I had to look up! :)

Even though I'm known as the APBT or "pit bull" lady everywhere I go, my next dog will either be a Fila or a Shar Pei.

You know upon further reflection, if I truly had to get a dog tomorrow... I'd pass on the pap puppy, not enough time to research lol. I'd probably go down to the local RSPCA with my very good friend who knows what I'm looking for in a dog (or rather, what I'm not looking for) and I'd adopt a young adult rescue. Small mixed breed with no aggressive tendencies, quite active and confident, potential for dog sports with a very inexperienced but keen handler, but most importantly a dog that I can curl up with on the couch at the end of a long day.

Actually, I'd prefer to rescue through the foster dog route, but I'm not sure if I could arrange this in a day. It's nice to dream of an impulsive buy, but it's not something I would ever do! I'd have to take my friend with me as she is very much a realist and would stop me from buying the one that was all wrong for me.
