So long story short, I left Mia and Summer outside in the yard the other day. My dogs do not like being left outside especially in the heat. I let them out to go potty and then ran off to work and forgot them. That is why I am a bad dog owner.
Now, Summer and Mia eventually started barking. ('hey! What about us!?') Rhonda thought I was out there with them but about 30 minutes later noticed that the barking was picking up pace. So she went outside and saw them out by themselves. She let them in and Mia for some reason decided Rhonda was to blame. Seriously. She walked in and glared at Rhonda and growled and barked and has been like that ever since. It's hilarious; every time she sees Rhonda, Mia gets this steely 'I hate you' look. And yeah, I know she's done this before, but she'd gotten to where she liked Rhonda. It just seems that according to Mia whenever something goes wrong the fault is always Rhonda's. It doesn't have to have anything to do with Rhonda, but Mia will start being angry with her if something doesn't go her way.
So I get a call at work from Rhonda to tell me I left the dogs outside and now she's sitting there talking to and reasoning with Mia about how she saved her life and Mia should like her. :rofl1:
I keep catching her trying to explain this to Mia. And Rhonda's not the type to ever talk to a doglike that. I think Mia just has a way of making people doubt their intelligence and sanity.
