Groceries, as in, just food (and not other household items/cleaning products) I spend probably less than $50 a week. I think I go grocery shopping ever 2-3 weeks and spend around $120-$150 each time, and that includes household products, so I'm probably spending less than $50 a week on actual food items.
That's just me, of course. When Michael is home, that bill is doubled and then some. He eats EVERYTHING.
I don't buy pop, I don't by snack food aside from the occasional bag of chips. A can of soup will feed me for two meals. LOL I'm very good about not impulse buying things when it is just me, especially since I'm trying to watch what I eat now.
I'll eat out MAYBE once a week, more like every two or three weeks, whenever I get a craving for a pizza or McDonalds. I take my lunch to work whenever possible. When Michael was home, he was eating out at least twice a week and sometimes on weekends with me, so I ate a lot more fast food then. That's something I want to try to avoid when he gets back.
