We spend a pretty good amount on food. Back when we were first dating and poor college students, we nearly starved lol. Now that we have a little extra income, food is something that I sort of splurge on. We don't drink, smoke, or eat at super expensive restaurants, so I sort of justify it that way.
I spend about $90-$125 a week at the store for two adults, and we eat out at least five times a week, counting lunches and dinners. Usually weekends we eat out and once or twice during the week.
I pack my lunch and snacks usually 3-4 days a work week and try to minimize eating out during work. My husband eats lunch out almost every day at work; he works in construction and lunch is the only break he gets. He does pack snacks and a small breakfast, as well as making his own gatorade and water bottles up at home.
All total I'd say we spend $100 on groceries and $100 on eating out each week.
