My dogs are all fed in the kitchen, but in seperate areas. The could all eat side by side without any behavioural issues, but the Dobermans are very messy eaters and they end up getting eachother and Dance all dirty if they eat close together. I make them all wait in different areas of the kitchen also, and release them one at a time.

I feed in different corners of same room. Both really love the food but neither are food or resource guarders. I however always stay in the room just to be on the safe side.

I only have Jackson but over at my dads place we feed all 3 dogs side by side. Not like DIRECTLY next to each other, but fairly close to each other, but far enough away where it won't become a problem. We've always just done it this way and it works.

They are all separated, Maisy and Pip in separate rooms and Squash in a crate. Otherwise Pip and Squash scarf Maisy's food before she has a chance to eat it, plus Pip can be a bit resource-guardy with the other dogs.

Different rooms/crates. Never ever ever side by side, that's just begging for a fight.

Used to feed Chloe in the bathroom, and Violet in the breakfast room/kitchen area. Now Chloe won't eat if she's by herself for some reason, so we feed Violet either in the breakfast room/kitchen area or in her crate, and feed Chloe either in the kitchen or on our laps on the couch. :p

However, there have been times in the past when Chloe's accidently gotten let out of the bathroom, and she's gone for Violet's food and she doesn't really react, and there have been times when Violet will come up to Chloe and I on the couch while Chloe's eating, and Chloe doesn't really react either, so I'm thankful for that.

We still don't want to risk anything though, so we try our best to just keep them separated and avoid any potential issues.

Fudge, Taz and Scamp are fed in my room and it just depends where I put the bowls down if they're side by side or opposite corners.

Tika's fed in her crate although for some resson she's refusing to eat in there and will wait until she is released and grab a mouthful, drop it on the carpet and eat it.

Ozzy's fed in the kitchen.

I feed in crates that are side by side. Technically Logan is crated and Gavroche is in his crate but with the door open and the food just outside the crate. I do this because Gavroche eats VERY fast and would eat Logan's food too if he got the chance. They have never shown food aggression towards eachother, but I also don't want to see any in the future. I also feel like it's less stressful for them if they know they don't have to guard their food from the other dog.

Truffles and Pop are fed in the same room. They have their own dog room and it's not that big but they have a giant children's playhouse in their and Pop has a bowl in the playhouse. We don't shut him in but he gets to eat in there.

Truffles gets fed outside of the playhouse.

They both eat in like 30 seconds though...so there isn't much problem with who's stealing who's food and stuff like that. Pop tries to steal Truffles stuff if it's like chew bones or something but Truffles never steals from other dogs.

Small kitchen; there's just not room for both of them at once. Monday eats in the kitchen and Katie just around the corner, maybe 4 feet away. Monday finishes first and hovers behind Katie but does not try to take her food. (She tried that ONCE. Katie explained things to her and she's never tried it again.)

If they're eating kibble or pre-made, in bowls side by side... even if it's a visiting dog or a foster. I feel it's VERY important for them to respect each other's bowls and feel no need to guard. I stand in between them until I completely trust them to eat from their own bowl. They will wander over and lick each other's bowls afterwards and be totally cool with it.

If it's raw meaty bones, outside, where ever they choose to take them.

When I had multiple dogs I would feed them in seperate rooms as the border collies would fight and miley was so much smaller I didn't a big dog hurting her.

We feed them in separate rooms, although that's more because of the cats than anything else. I think Rowan and Kaylee would be fine eating near each other. The cats, or at least the kitten, try to steal their food, though! So Rowan eats in the living room, Kaylee eats in the bedroom, Saffron eats in the laundry room and Meowmers eats in the kitchen. The bedroom and the laundry room are both closed off, and the only reason Rowan and Meowmers can be in the same "room"(/open area) is because I always supervise Rowan's meals regardless. If Meowmers gets a little too close, I can make him go away.

Mine can be and often are fed side by side, but I also selected crates because I will send them there with raw meaty bones since they are messy.

ETA: Forgot to mention the cats. The cats will often eat out of the dogs' bowls with them. But their food gets set up high so that the dogs can't return the favor.

They eat opposite of each other, a few feet apart. They will share if they're feeling like it, and aren't food guardy with each other, though they'd both rip a different dog a new one for taking such liberties as they take with each other.
