Hi folks. It's been quiiiiite a while since I was here last. But I have such fond memories of you all, I wanted to come back. :)

I'm back living in Canada (I was living in Iceland) and I'm finishing my first year of a psychiatric nursing program. I'm still dogless (the family's 13 year old shepherd passed away last summer) but I've been hired on a casual basis to work at the local SPCA, just to get my regular dose of doggy energy.

I'm single, cramming my way through school, totally broke, driving a piece of crap car and struggling to have a social life and make ends meet, but I'm very happy. :)

I've been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. Don't disappear again!

That's a beautiful photo, one to treasure. I'm glad you got to spend time with him. The love he has for you shows so clearly. :)

Welcome back! I hope you have enough spare time to stick around more. How interesting that you lived in Iceland for a time. How did you like that? do you have photos from there?

That is such a lovely photo and I'm so sorry for your loss. I bet that lovely dog is very much missed.

I'm glad to hear things are chugging right along for you and wish you all the best. School is hard and I bet it really keeps you super busy, but it will be so worth it. Best wishes.:)

Hello, lovely folks. Thanks for the warm reception. :)

Dober: Iceland was totally awesome. There's really no place like it in the world. I have a bajillion photos (it's a very photogenic country) but I'm a bit too homesick for the place to get much enjoyment out of looking at them. It's been a year and a half and it still tugs too much at my heartstrings to see them. Some day!

Renee: Oh, you won't even be able to get rid of me this time. My program is mostly online which means I'm strapped to my computer chair 24/7. Where else do you think I'll go when I need a non-academic distraction? :)

Glad you're back and that things are progressing well. It was a little empty here without you.
