Bear was great with everyone, maybe more standoffish with my dad's sketchy friends.

Meg thinks everyone in the world is a delightful gift to her. She particularly liked the odd man who lived down the street and enjoyed petting her - you know, until he borrowed a gun, shot up a house on our street, the local elementary school, and killed two women.
I almost laughed, but the horror won out.

Juno hates strange men. Which is odd to me because she's met a lot of men, and she adores the men that she knows. But if they're new to her, she's a complete coward... it's not like she's just aloof, she's actually pretty fearful. Only time you'll hear this dog growl outside of playtime is if a strange man tries approaching her. I took her to the pet store yesterday and the only male employee there asked if she could have a treat. I said sure, you can try.... she backed away as far as the leash would allow her, so he tossed the treat on the ground near her and she wouldn't eat it even after he had walked away. And anyone who knows Juno, knows that she does not refuse food!!

But otherwise, she doesn't have a specific person she dislikes. I actually might be her least favorite person just because of all my "rules." ;)

Lola loves everyone. If someone were to break in she would probably help them with what they were taking :rofl1:

She even likes the woman who left her dog starving and emaciated in her last apartment and was found guilty of animal cruelty. I try to avoid her with Lola and fortunately she is moving.

A friend had a dog years ago, a husky shepherd mix that either liked you from the time he met you or did not like you at all. If he did not like you he never would and if he did like you he always did. One time I had stopped by their and it was at least 6 months since the last time I stopped by and he acted as if I was their the day before happy and excited to see me.

Fozzie loves everyone. He has honestly never growled at/barked at/shunned any person.

Gonzo doesn't despise many people, but he loves very few strangers. He saves it all for those that have earned his love and trust. He does LOVE "dog people" right off the bat, I think he senses that they know dog language. He is an amazing judge of character, and there are certain people he just does not like and never will... I trust his judgement. He doesn't go after them, but he wants nothing to do with them. Neither do I! Most of the people that Gonz doesn't like later proved to be truly bad people. :( He hates cops (after being pepper sprayed by an asshole cop) and my friend Denise, who is super weird and has a ridiculous laugh... he only gets really upset when she laughs and he decides he must herd her.

Not that I recall! She loves meeting new people, but once she does, she acts disinterested, as if she is better then they are :p

She does like older people better though, like really older people

Victor will have a total meltdown if your about 300 lbs, bald and wearing blue farmer overalls.

I had a dog that was a racist. HE is the number one reason I believe in reincarnation. I had him from a puppy, knew him from birth. There was no bad experience to sway his opinion of different people. If you were not Caucasian, He would be ready to chase you to your car, or on top of it, which ever way you preferred to run. He never bit anyone, but he had no tolerance whatsoever for Afro Americans or this Indian Doctor that use to come to the kennels to help Chris with his transfusions. I never understood it at all.

Mary took an instant dislike to this woman in the pawn shop. I was going in to sell my diamond earrings (after Jim died) to buy dog food I kid you not. I sold a lot to buy dog food. We went in the door and I brought her in with me because it was hot outside and I didn't want to leave her in the car. She took one whiff of that woman and every hackle she had was up and she was bearing all of her teeth, very unMarylike.
We left quick. I listened to Mary. Sold my earrings later up the street.

Bronki her son was good with the whole world for 7 years. Once we were having the car worked on and decided to walk to the near by mall to get some ice cream. We had finished our cones and were walking back when an old woman approached us carrying a brown paper bag. Bronki belly growled and he too had his hackles up. I had to step in front of him while she passed. He was so upset he was shaking all over. I don't know what it was about, or what she had in that sack but it really scared him.

The Dobermans like everyone unless given a reason not to. Ripley is overly exuberant when it comes to people (I joke that he's a Lab trapped in a Dobe body sometimes, lol), but he is also observant and is able to pick out the good form the bad. He's nicely alerted me to a few sketchy people this year. Keira's more reserved when it comes to people, but not at all shy. She loves everyone, but saves her real enthusiasm for family and close friends.

And Dance doesn't like many people. It's always a good day when she meets somebody she does like, and it's a miracle if she gets through a day not offended by anyone at all! And there are times where, for whatever reason, she'll just all of a sudden decide some random person is her new best friend. I don't know why or what it is about these people though. And when she does decide she likes you, she really likes you. There is no happy medium for Dance. She either hates you or she loves you, and there is no rhyme nor reason to it.

But back to the original question... no, there aren't any specific people in particular that my people-friendly dogs (the dobermans) don't like that I actually associate myself with. There have just been a few people in public that they've not liked, and for good reason.

Enzo is like Jack. She LOVES greeting people but after that she's good with them, and moves on to the next person. Sometimes after greeting someone she doesn't want anything to do with them.

There's only a few people she's not liked, and if ENZO doesn't like you, there has to be something wrong with you. She hated our neighbor where we used to live, and she would bark really meanly at him every time we saw him outside.
