I don't know what it is. It's on his left thigh, it sticks out, and it's about the size of a grape. It's not tender, although it seemed like it was when we first noticed it a couple days ago - or at least he didn't really want it to be touched. Now I can mess with it a bunch and he just lays there. It seems like it's attached underneath the skin when I try to pinch the skin around it. It also seems like it's attached deeper when I try to move it around. It's more firm than the tissue around it, but I can still squish it. It hasn't gotten any bigger since we noticed it. Caesar was just at the vet a week ago and it definitely wasn't there. We noticed it I think on Sunday. He's acting fine. He runs around and plays and seems to have no pain at all. He's eating well and everything else is normal.
Sooo, should I be worried? (p.s. I'm working 100 hours this week. Even if you think it could be cancer, I would appreciate circumspection - in other words, don't freak me out too much... my psyche can't handle it. I just want to know how quickly I should get him into the vet.)
