A week ago I bought a Mastiff puppy.Saturday she went to the emerg vet for watery poop amd vomiting.Vet said she was ok and gave me some pills.Last night she started pooping blood so emerg vet again.The vet said she was too far gone and put her to sleep.Said this is the worst case of Parvo he has seen in 10 years.I am still balling.She was such a sweetie.I am out $1800 and my heart is gone.

I signed a contract but this stupid breeder only offers a 72 hour health guarantee.She is claiming it was caught from here.My vet has her number and is going to rip into her.I hope for the breeders sake Amber stays fine.If Amber gets sick too I will really snap.I am thinking of taking her to small claims to recoup something.My daughter is sad and I am quite upset.It;s really hard to go through this with a 10 week old pup.

I agree that something should be done about that breeder...definintely talk to a lawyer!! Was your puppy registered? If so, report her to the organization (AKC?) and let them know what happened. I'm in the process of doing that for my puppy's breeder. I'm crossing my fingers that your other pup stays healthy!

I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you. Yes, I hope you get something back from that breeder and that everyone knows what she did. I hope too, that your other pup won't catch it. That darn virus can ruin it for future pups on your property. Can you find out who else bought her other pups and see if any of them got it? If so, that would show that they contacted in from her place...probably. It is just so sad. I hope things look up for you soon.
