At what age did you learn to ride a two-wheeled bicycle (without training wheels)?

What age did your kids learn (especially if you don't remember when you did).

I'm almost positive I had just turned 6. That's the age most of the kids in the neighborhood learned, although my friend learned much younger (maybe 3 or 4) and I know one girl didn't learn until we were 9 or 10.

I was older, around 10 I think, because I grew up outside of town on gravel roads so we just didn't have bikes. My grandma kept some for her grandkids and I eventually learned to ride at her house. I don't have any kids, but my 5 year old niece just learned.

I was 4.
My mom had to take my brother to an appointment and dropped me off at a friend's house. This friend had a farm and lots of "soft" dirt roads.
Mom came to pick me up, his mom said we were out back riding bikes, my mom was just saying how I don't know how to ride a 2-wheeler when I came tearing down the road toward her.

Man I don't remember. Probably 1st or 2nd grade. I feel like I was a bit older. I was scared lol and after I fell once while learning it put me off wanting to try again.

Lisa learned last year, at 6. Chris still can't without the training wheels (to be fair, he hasn't been trying, he stuck to his balance bike until lately and he doesn't like his big bike).

I still don't know how to ride, lol. We lived in the city and it wasn't the best place to learn. I tried when I was 14, but it didn't work out.

I was 6, my sister 10, and I think my brother was 7 or 8. The only reason I learned to ride without training wheels that young was because we were going on a family vacation in Eastern Oregon where there are lots of bike trails, and I was adamant that I ride a 2-wheeler by then.

5 ish

It was pre entering school is all I remember. We had a big driveway and I loved to ride my bike. Had a huge empty basement we could also skate and ride bikes in until it was finished later on.

We have a gravel drive and it's huge but my sons not gonna learn the same I did! Have a feeling he will be older.

I honestly have no idea. For as long as I can remember? Started off on a tricycle, then it was a bike with training wheels, then a bike. Don't know when it was. I'm pretty sure I was riding my bike before we got Blackie, which would have meant I was around 5? 6? *shrugs*

Quite late.

Everyone in my family tried to teach me when I was 4 or 5 but I kept falling down and they kept letting go when they pushed me from behind and I gave up at that age.

Then later at 9 years old I got my own bike and just took it around outside and learned by myself. So I didn't know how to ride a bike until 9.

I have to say though, since I never ride bikes, I feel like I'm still somewhat terrible at it. I get really nervous when people ride near me especially if small children pass around me.

3 or 4 I had training wheels, maybe 6 years I had them taken off.

Course, my first spring I had to get them back on because I'd forgotten how to balance over the winter, lol.
