I caved and put The Bean's ears up tonight.

I feel a little bit like a jerk because I know it doesn't matter what his ears do. But I *like* the way up ears look, and it didn't look to me like they were going to go up on their own.

He looks so grown up now!

I like them so much better than

OMFFFFFFFFFFFFG.
*explodes*

If you ever decide you don't want your puppy anymore I have a one year old puppy who I'm pretty sure would love him.
and I would too.

I tried that with ticket but it didn't stick - but if I trim the heck out of his ears they are more upright.

Kilts are as close to being up without being up as you can get - she's slept on her back and they've been prick ears for a short while.

I was told not to trim the ear hair as it helps keep the ears down. So you may want to trim them. LOL

His up ears look great :D

I feel bad when I glue Logan's ears, too, but he doesn't really care if they're glued or not, so apparently the glue doesn't bother him. But I glue his down, not up lol!

His breeder keeps trying to talk me into a collie, and I keep telling her only if she lets me keep its ears up. She hasn't caved yet. :p

Bean is flippin' adorable!!! I love the up eared look. :)

they look pretty goofy with prick ears. There's one that we board and they're just .... kinda oddball looking on him. Just not enough ear or something.

I secretly love the prick-eared look for collies :rofl1: I know, awful, but I think it's adorable lol. I really can't stand completely dropped ears on collies, though. Then they look super dorky.

Logan's ears are much better now than they were 2 years ago, fortunately. If they're unglued and the left one goes prick, all I have to do is fold it and massage it a bit and it tips again. The right one is almost always nicely tipped. I do try to avoid taking pictures with his ears glued, as I don't exactly do a tidy glue job and it's annoying editing out all the stray bits of glue. And then people ask what's wrong with his ears  I have someone that wants to handle Logan in our club's match for practice (I can't show him because I'm busy learning to be event secretary :/ ). I'll have to remind her to make sure his ears are tipped in the ring, and not pricked like her GSD's ;)

It looks way better on smooths. Sometimes they kinda look like chunky coyotes with prick ears.

OMG! Wait til the BC Board finds out!!! The end of the world!

:p

I'm an equal-opportunity ear household lol...we got everything...and the thought of making one ear up and one down, opposite of Steve, cracked me up.

Me, personally, I don't care what the ears do but I do prefer symmetry...both ears picking the same course of action is nice lol
