Purely as entertainement value, a couple of friends and I went to a psychic.
He was a hoax---I could see my friend give him clues without realizing what she was doing--just the way she answered his questions...and the stuff he said could be applied to any situation if she looked at it differently.

Mine was very vague---he told me I was hard to read. No, I'm not,,he's not not real, lol :)

The animal communicator that read my dog was more accurate than the people communicator was.

It was a fun night comparing stories with my friends though.

My mom told me she went to one when she was younger. She told me that she went, and the lady just started telling my mom about her life, and my mom hadn't told her anything. Really interesting!

I never have but it is interesting to me. Yeah, Sylvia Browne is cool.

Sounds like you guys had lots of fun. And an animal communicator. Fancy that! Even better than Cesar Milan?

I saw this doctor. HE was suppose to be a doctor, a GP. He said let me see your hand. I thought maybe he was looking for capilary (sp?) refill or something. Instead he told me my life line was broken. THen he said did i have a serious illness as a child or was there someone out there capable of causing me bodily harm. I told him nooooooooooo (but there was) and then he said "AND your music is no where near it's potential. " I didn't push for the respitory infection i had..i just got the heck out of there. He had no thumbs on either hand and his nurse had webbed fingers.

I am not making one word of this up.

I went home and told my mom....she took my hand and a ballpoint pen and connected the lines.

Interesting bit of info about Sylvia Brown...
yeah she says she can read people and stuff,
but she was offered a VERY large (millions) sum of money to go read a person in a controlled environment. (meaning she had no say in her surroundings) and she wont do it.
There is no scientific proof of her ability, its PsuedoScience.

Nope have never been to a psychic, but I do my own Tarrot cards regularly.. Coming from a family of "Lovari" Gypsies, it's kinda in the blood! ;)

Please remember that cards can't predict the future, but can help you choose the right path.. It's not an exact science, and people tend to read what they want to read into the responses they get.. I think though if you can stay objecive then it really can make a difference to the way that your life heads..

I'd still like to go to one that can read me. Some girls at work have been to the one I went to and it was spooky what he told a couple of them. He was very accurate about some things that would happen that he couldn't have known.

This is embarrasing, but...yes.

Probably 3 months ago or so. My cousin went to see this woman first. She apparently :)rolleyes:) communicates with your guardian angel and tells you things via a deck of playing cards.

I don't remember everything in regards to my cousin, but one of the things she said was that her grandfather was upset about his grave. The next time her father went back to their hometown, he went to visit it, and the grandfather's grave was the only one in the cemetary that was tipped over and covered with moss.

So my aunt went, and the part I remember from that is what she said about her father (my beloved grandfather, who passed away a few years ago of a stroke just when we thought he was starting to have problems with Alzheimers). He wanted to tell his girls that he couldn't remember a lot of things at the end, and that he always felt woozy (he always said woozy instead of sick), but that he could remember everything now.

Several of my cousin's friends went as well. My mother went, and the big thing that stands out right now is that she told my mother that both she and my father are going to be healthy this year, but that one of them was going to have a scare with their blood pressure, but it wouldn't be anything serious. Last week, I spent the night in the ER with my mother, because she felt dizzy thoughout the day, and when we went to the pharmacy to have her BP taken, it was at the "oh, sh!t" level. Turns out she just needed her meds adjusted.

The most important thing she said to me was that I would be getting a puppy at some point in the next six months. I had made a point to leave Meg at home, and remove the dog stickers from my bumper, so there was no sign of animals she could see. Without asking about any other animals, she said it was going to be a puppy, that my current dog would love it, and that it would enjoy having it's picture taken and be a bit vain.

My mother, who of course bought into most of the things the woman said, is sure this one was wrong!
