Here's some pics of EVERYONE, not just Mia! I know I am so bad about postings tons and tons of Mia pics then leaving out the other FOUR dogs. So here's pics of all five.

This is photo-heavy. Sorry! I enjoyed them so I hope you guys do too!

Just basically pics over the course of one lazy summer day with 5 paps. It was much cooler out today- only 95 degrees instead of this 104-108 crap we've had lately.

All their happy, smiling faces.

I will start with Mia, however. I know, I know...

But look, she jumped! And I failed and cut her nose off in the picture. And then she never jumped again. Figures.

Tired of papillons... NEVER lol

Great photo set. I too love the swimming ears.
I love the one ear up and one ear down. Of course you'd never get tired of papillons either, you have the same affliction I do. I could never get tired of the breed. They're just so happy it's contagious.

Ah yes, Summer gets very springy when she gets excited about something lol.

There is no way to have too many papillons XD Love it!
Definitely not! I need about 2 or 3 more, I think.

i have no idea why, but Rose is my favorite. Always has been. :D
I think Rose is a lot of peoples' favorite, especially in real life. She's just so SWEET and cute. She has to be close to the perfect dog. There isn't a mean bone in her body and she's so easy going. Her cuteness isn't done justice in pics either. She's just ridiculously adorable in real life.

I saw papillions in RL for the first time EVER this week! One of them looked similar to Summer and the other one reminded me of Mia. It didn't look especially like her but it had a little evil glint in it's eye lol.

Loved the pictures as always!! I love Mia swimming.

Happy Rose <3 I just want to cuddle her! Although I remember you saying she's not very cuddly.

I also love how bouncy Summer is! Nia was taught at a young age by the breeder never to jump like that so she doesn't! I think it would be cute once in a while.

Does the pool make their coats feel weird? I haven't tried the pool but when I take Nia to the beach and she wades around in salt water, her coat feels very clammy and strange afterwards so I end up having to rinse her off.

I can never get enough Papillons! Mia really is gorgeous. Out of all of them, she's my favorite look-wise. Of course they are all freakin' beautiful, but there's something about Mia that I just love. Her markings on her face are perfect (imo). ;)

So is she enjoying swimming now? They all are such a fantastic bunch of dogs.

Aww that's so cute! You should get him his very own papillon. ;)

Really? I see paps pretty commonly around here. Paps can be pretty manipulative little dogs. She certainly has a mischievous glint.

Yeah Rose isn't very cuddly. Of all of them, she's probably the least cuddly to be honest. But she's a very happy little girl. I think she finally got to where the camera doesn't scare her anymore because she used to just freeze up and look sad when I'd point the camera at her.

Summer actually jumps like that on command. It's one of her tricks. I find papillons LOVE to learn tricks that involve jumping, spinning, or standing on their back legs. I've always heard paps think they can fly and Summer is no exception. She jumps, spins both ways with four feet on the ground and on two, jumps and spins, stands on her back legs, walks on her back legs, and just jumps straight up- those are her favorite tricks to perform. She actually learned to jump straight up after agility. For some reason instead of jump meaning go over an agility jump, Summer figured out it means all four feet leave the ground. She rarely jumps when she's excited, those are all her performing her jump tricks and jump and spin tricks. Her favorite to do is to jump and spin while in the air. It's kind of nice though, I think teaching her to do those kinds of things on cue is a great way to let her do those things without her getting neurotic about it. I know some paps will do that stuff constantly when they're excited.

The pool really doesn't make them feel weird at all. I actually bathed them all is why they were wet later on in the pics. Mia is the only one that swims. But she feels fine after swimming. Then again we have a salt water pool so it's not heavily chlorinated or anything.

I love Mia, haha. I love her markings too. I think they're my favorite hound tri markings I've ever seen. Most end up losing most or all of the black and I'm so glad she hasn't. I can't imagine her without her expressive little eyebrow markings.

I'm not sure what she thinks about swimming to be honest. She loves floating and every now and then she decided to get in the water. She pretty much just swims back to the steps and I'll push her 'boat' over and she wants immediately back in. Maybe one day. She's swimming a bit more each time, so I have hope! She's always loved wading and likes hanging out on the top step.

I know a couple Papillon owners, including one who just got one of the puppies from my last litter. They seem like fun little dogs. :) The one does very good with the puppy from my litter, Justy. Keeps up good with Border Collie!

They really are fun little dogs! We always had shelties and other herding mixes and then got the papillons as a small breed because of their spunk and energy. They're fantastic dogs.
