I've also been having problems with unsafe webpage and my anti-virus has been going insane on me every time I visit Chaz. It's starting to get a bit ridiculous. The problem definitely needs to be resolved.

It's weird because I was completely blocked from dogforums when they were having problems but I haven't even gotten a warning here.

Zoom? Do you guys know if it is related to an ad?

I haven't been getting these warnings. However, it's obvious there's a problem and it really needs to be addressed. :(

Just because it's not being picked up doesn't mean there's not something wrong on my computer, too. :/

Has anyone figured this out? I run Firefox with free AVG as my anti-virus program and haven't had any warnings here. (I have noticed a couple of mainstream type news sites triggered warnings recently, though.)

I just checked my computer and found nothing. When I use Norton to access the site it comes up clean: Norton Safe Web, from Symantec - report for chazhound.com

Can anyone tell me exactly what they were doing when they got the warning? Like were you on the homepage, browsing a particular forum, looking at pics etc.

The only ads on the site are from Google and they usually do a pretty good job at not allowing spyware. When I check Mcafee siteadvisor it fails, but lists the same old crap that was deleted last year, so I think they never rescanned the site: chazhound.com | McAfee SiteAdvisor Software ? Website Safety Ratings and Secure Search

I will have the entire server checked first thing in the morning, but want to get as much info as possible.

Thanks!

My virus cop buddies have provided me with a bunch of information regarding a huge recent software exploit that is very likely the cause of all of this. I've passed the info to MT.

Yup, got quite a few trojans on mine yesterday. Seems AVG is no longer picking them up? So I'm running avast to see if I can catch any more.

OK, this has come up for me on 4 different computers. 2 work computers running Firefox and AVG, a home computer running IE and updated Norton, and another home iMac. Just clicking to the home page.

It says it contains malware and just by browsing it the computer can be infected without any further action on my part.

Running my macbook at home I haven't had any issues, but I've had this come up a few times on the work computer when pulling up the homepage. I hope this is resolved QUICKLY!

Ok, the issue has been found and removed. Apparently, it was some type of vBulletin hack.

If anyone has anymore issues or sees any other type of warning, message, threat, pop up etc. please send me an email directly at webmaster [at] chazhound.com

Thanks!

MT

PS. We are going to do some upgrades and other stuff, so the forums may be out of whack until we get it done. I know there are big changes from vb3.x to vb4.x
