your talking to a mod genius.

I think the point everyone is making is not to say negative things about established member or you will be met with strong disagreement, so don't be surprised if no one sided with you.
My appologies if I offended anyone, but seriously, can all the posters re-read their posts as I will and tell me how I violated anyone's post?

hahah Sorry! I just couldn't stand it anymore. It will be interesting if the bird sings a new tune now tho.
Do birds sing more than one tune? I've always been interested in birds.. maybe I'll learn something new today. :) ETA: It looks like they can try. :)

Once again, did I say anything like what you posted?
Umm wow ... is english your native language?

I am asking if you 'meant' this. I have NO IDEA what you meant. You seem incapable of stating what you meant. So am am making statements and asking if that was what you meant.

It would be sooo much simpler if you just clarified what you DO mean and we can all go from there. The only one being snotty or duplicitous is you.

Just making sure you are making this nasty statement, and if you are, what is the reason ?????

What is the nasty statement?

Please state what I said was nasty.

Please state what you did mean. If your intentions are honest then you shouldn't have a problem explaining what you mean.

Beautiful.......one must make sure to keep up the bad rep of a dog, such as yours......

I own GSDs ......should people be aware????
what did you mean by this?

I rescue......but, that might not be enough for folks like you.....

No titles here, I am not interested in that, I much prefer to adopt out a dog that will be a "Good Ambassador" representing it's breed.......
Are you implying that the only way to be a good ambassador is to rescue? IYO is it possible for a well bred dog to be a good ambassador

(and here is a real question for you.. is a dog a good ambassador if its temperament is not to breed standard?.. ie if a breed that is not supposed to be super friendly or smushy and the dog is)

Why do titles play into it.. other than as one way to show that you got your dog out there. Its great your dogs are good ambassadors. But at least with titles there is some proof. For all we know some people who come on here may never take their dogs out of their own back yard (which could be fine.. but at least titles are tangible) Some of the best trainers on here don't have titles... so you are in good company.

Why are you so defencive? Why are you unwilling to explain yourself and seem to want to attack people?

<<<<<Umm wow ... is english your native language?>>>>
Unmm wow at the miscommunication.

There have been people who have come to chaz who have problems communticating. A few times english was NOT their first language. If its not then we all know we must do a better job to explain ourselves. Its a matter of courtesy.

Before I will assume someone is being a jerk I like to give them all the benifit of the doubt.

This is a perfect example of what I see in your posts. You are looking for slights and attacks where there are none. An honest question on my part to see if I could make this better was perceived as an attack

Also, I did not imply anything.....I simply stated that I prefer rescue .....is that ok?

Sure.. according to firefox your spelling is wrong and mine is right (but I have the Canadian spell check on.. so maybe its regional)

But if we are picking on spelling now ... "ere"?

post 151 is a good one too

And so why add in snide comments if you aren't trying to imply things? Why state that you "I rescue......but, that might not be enough for folks like you....."

Like us? Please answer what you mean 'like us' I am heavily involved with the JRTRO. I can even supply references if you would like.

I would like to know if you are not implying things then what is the purpose of that comment?

Your tone is defensive. If you truely aren't, then perhaps you should word your post milder just in case.
People here don't know you so they are trying to figure you out. That involves lots and lots of questions. No one is trying to attack you. Take a deep breath. What you said could be construed as offensive. People are simply trying to figure out the motivations behind your opinion.

If your statement was intended just to be snarky. Then just say so. If you going to say it wasn't, then people are going to try to understand. And around and around we go.

in all honesty i can understand the tone behind that statement. I have been treated like i "know nothing" because i simply rescue and not show/breed/trial ETC. This is likely a leftover feeling from another forum.

I haven't run into it here but i can see why som'one would feel that way and perhaps say som'thing like that.

Jeez, you want to pick on a typo?

Is that all you have to live for?

Another comment with very strong negative implications.

One which you have yet to explain.

ORIGINALLY POSTED BY MULTIPLE PAWS:

beautiful.......one must make sure to keep up the bad rep of a dog, such as yours......
With this statement you imply that I have made comments that are damaging to the reputation of my breed. The sarcasm is dripping off the word beautiful, and the phrase "such as yours".

Your intent, and your implications, are very clear.

I have not seen this much tap dancing since the Lawrence Welk reruns went off.

Very good point.

My dogs don't fold to strangers and new things......they very much protect us....
What I don't get is that is seems like, based on this statement, you pretty much agree with red and everyone here anyway.

Would your GSDs have ever allowed some random stranger to stomp at them aggressively and jab them in the neck? Would they have allowed themselves to be physically assaulted, unprovoked, by a total stranger? If it happened, would they have tried to protect you or themselves?

Well, neither would a couple of red's dogs. That is all she was saying. She hasn't done anything to harm the reputation of the rottweiler breed by admitting so. They are a guardian breed, and shouldn't tolerate a physical assault by a stranger, just like a GSD shouldn't either, or a doberman, or a fila, etc.
