Okay. Here's what I sent . . .

Really, can you possibly come up with a more irresponsible idea for programming? It's bad enough that National Geographic has lent its name to and endowed this pseudo-trainer and his downright dangerous and rightfully outmoded "training" practices with an aura of legitimacy, but to extend this to the idea that the breeding of wolf hybrids is an ethical practice goes beyond the pale.

The only possible redemption this idea could possibly have is for his followers to see him try his alpha rolling techniques (long since discredited by legitimate behaviorists) on the wrong dog and watch him get his well-earned mauling publicly.

The name, "National Geographic" once stood for something fine. I am saddened at the depths to which it is sinking.

Since this is clearly a ratings free for all I'd like to see an "exotics" episode where he helps people out with their unruly saltwater crocodiles....

This is where positive training will get you people----clearly this little fellow is lacking a calm and assertive pack leader. Daily leadership walks, some alpha rolls and some good old fashioned "Tssssting" should fix him right up.....

There are no bad crocodiles. Only bad crocodile owners......

It will be interesting to see how he compares dogs with the hybrids. I think I've seen him work with them before on at least one episode... I have little time for TV these days.

I don't think the average owner should own one in the first place. But then, there are a lot of breeds which are far more challenging than a novice owner can handle too.

My only "oh dear" moment is picturing hybrids as the new "gotta have it cuz I saw it on TV" pet.

No kidding. Especially if the average viewer sees a bunch of gorgeous animals and decides they can get one and easily manage its behavior with regular alpha rolling, ear pinching, and neck jabs.
