I'm left handed. But, I cant do anything but write with my left hand. I use Righty scissors, i use a for and chopsticks with my right hand, ect..

In kindergarten, they kept giving me lefty scissors and I would get angry and they didn't know why. I just couldn't cut the dumb paper. It would like fold in between the scissors.

Heh.

Edit-
I just realized I pretty much wrote the same thing jess2416 did. :lol-sign:

My mom's eyes were like mine....my dad's were kind of an aqua blue. We're unique!!!:D

My daughter has eyes like my dad and my son's are more like mine but with more brown.

all of my relatives have brown eyes, but I have aqua colored eyes...well they are light green, but change sometimes to blueish.....if thats not the 1/4 recessive gene that I received I don't know what is!

Hmmmm talents....well, I have really good hearing for noises, not necessarily for making out words, but any type of sounds. Sometimes I hear noises before my dog does.

Oh, I know something else weird...I do everything with my right hand, except for shooting a gun and a bow. I also snowboard goofy footed, (right foot leads).

I like to think my mind is unique, but, don't we all want to think that? Haha!

But, in all fairness, most people tell me I have a very unique way of expressing my opinions for someone my age. I've also been told I have unique eyes, lips, hair (by my own hands) and style.

But, I don't really trust other people's views as much anymore, so, who knows!

I can tell you though (as I think this is unique) I started reading when I was four, and the first book I read was a tattered old dog book my mom had. I finished it several times...and actually refused to go to school without it, because I wouldn't be able to read it again.
So I guess, for my age, I had a unique interest in reading.

well I can twist my tongue all the way around so that it looks like it's flipped backwards, and I can put my tongue on my nose. I don't kno if these are unique enough but it's my specialty lol

I can comfortably fit into most overhead compartments. I think...can't quite say I've actually tried it. But I can fit into a fairly small suitcase and if two of those can fit in the compartments, then I ought to be able to.

Uh...I'm with Sharky about the drinking...I can (or used to be able to anyway) be able to drink guys twice my size under the table. I'm out of practice now though, lol.

I think that it's...what I thought was unique is apparently shared by many people on the board. So I have no marketable "uniqueness" left...I'm just me.

raven, like you i was an early reader [raven is also one of my nicknames, weird].

i was actually speaking in full sentances at the age of one. by one and a half i could count to ten, say most of the ABCs and recite mother goose. by two i knew the rest of my ABCs and way more mother goose and could converse readily [read: argue & be right] with any adult. i was reading the encyclopedia and an adult Bible in kindergarten. i was known to correct my teachers regularly, and was frequently in trouble for it. i was supposed to go in and be tested for autism when i was in grade one. my mom missed the appointment and another never was made. they were trying to find out why i had such an insane memory and yet had behaviour issues. back then, especially in a small town, autism wasn't well known. i think they thought i was a savant. i was just a somewhat smart kid who had tons of time poured into her by her parents, who then divorced [thus the acting out].
anyway, i was reading my first dickens in grade 3 and was finally pulled out of school [i hated school] because the system couldn't keep up with me and there was no provision for advanced students. my education continued to suffer after that, but i'm still a huge reader.

I'm pretty much just me.
My mom has brown eyes, my dad has blue eyes, and I was born with eyes that change from vivid green to hazel.

Um. . .in 2nd grade I was tested and had a post-high school reading level and entered into GATE ("Gifted And Talented Education").

Even as a baby I was obsessed with organization and lined Q-tips up evenly and ALWAYS put my toys away. I also hated pajamas and prefered to take my clothes off. When I had to wear something my mom had to cut the footies off and put them on on backwards.

Baby proofing locks never worked for me- I always got into them.

No one thing can fully occupy my mind. My mind is always buzzing with philosophical and scientific thoughts that truly haunt me. It's frightening when I can't get my mind to shut off. I have to be watching TV, reading, and sitting on the computer together (or any multiple combinations of tasks) to try to get my mind to stop going.

There's more things like that, but I'll post later.

Oh, and I'm having a terrible craving for brownies.

momof2, lucky you to have something like gate to be in! i was just weird and ended up homeschooled. no one knew what to do with me.
i wasnt organized - at least on the surface. my mom never understood how i could clean my room in five minutes, and if i could then why i never did until she told me.
like you, i cannot shut off my mind.

What a talented group!:p I can make my ear wiggle by itself (only the right one!), can tie a cherry stem in a knot in my mouth, and can twist my tongue sideways (but only to the right side!!):D

I usually get comments on my weird eye color. The outside is a dark blue, then it turns green, then the center is a golden color. But both eyes do match each other!

my eyes are originally hazel, but they are brown in the middle! But, my eyes are somewhat like yours! and then they are dark blue on the outside to outline my eyes. lol

Hmm, the top digit of my thumb bends back all the way on both hands.

How about a unique fear? I have a horrible phobia of things going up my nose, LOL.
