Listened to my trainer? Buster would have gone out, think it was fun to be looking at the store, gone back in and tried to bite the other dogs all over again. We bought a muzzle to use, and its working as it should.

And, again, dogs dont understand that. Her dog understands that shes ignoring it, but dogs cant tie what you ignoring it for and your ignoring it together. Dogs are smart, yes, but there minds dont work like that. And, I dont just think they dont understand it, I know. There are little things called experiments and science. There happen to be people who test theories, and find out things like that, and thats exactally where I get that from. I like to use training techniques that actually work on the dogs behavior, instead of just teaching it tricks.
And how would just muzzling your dog going to 'teach' it not to bite helping anything? Can you leave the muzzle off and he won't bite anymore? I just don't understand your statement " I like to use training techniques that actually work on the dogs behavior, instead of just teaching it tricks" If you think muzzling a dog is a training technique for his behavior, I think you are sadly mistaken.

We go to training on saturdays. The saturday we bought the muzzle and used it on Buster, he was doing very bad and trying to attack Romeo, a Yorkie pup. The next Saturday, muzzle in hand, he was much much better, and tolerated Romeo and the rest of the pups better, and he didnt try to attack them, just growled and snarled. Id say it worked pretty damned well.

And orion, you feel sorry for my dogs?
Without me, Bagel and Buster would have died in the back yard of a trailer trash family from a respritory infection and starving to death. I feel sorry for my dogs too, eh?

We rescued Ginger, our oldest Dachie, and spent thousands of dollars to have 4 back sugeries done on her, and guess what? Shes still crazy, still jumps around, still takes socks, because we loved her enough to do all that.

Pepper? Shes allergic to her vaccines, so we can't board her at the vet. Its a big hassel, driving 3 hours to my aunt to drop her off to stay when we go on vacation, but we love her enough to do it, instead of her waiting in an isolation kennel all by herself at the vet, which would be a lot easier. But no, we know she can't handle being alone.

Juliette. She tried, and almost did, to kill our cat, not once, but twice. She also attacked our oldest dog. She doesnt like other dogs, so we can't take her to the park or anything, but we still love her and have her.

Your right, poor my dogs.

Why do we need personal attacks? Don't agree with someone...fine tell them why but there is no need to be nasty.

You didn't spark anything Kookyee. It is not your responsibility how other people conduct themselves. Forum rules are forum rules. And personal attacks are undesirable behavior. No click, no treat for that.
