If you don't like blood do not view the next picture! I took this after I had thoroughly checked to make sure she hadn't broken a tooth or her jaw. She just bit her tongue, it bled like crazy. She refused to quit playing. I had to walk her to the van to rinse her mouth with water.

I honestly don't think she felt it at all. She came back and dropped the frisbee for me and took off to wait for the throw. I saw a ton of blood on it and called her back. I'm sure I sounded panicked because she made a wide arc before coming in to me. I really thought she had knocked a tooth out with the way it was bleeding. As soon as I doused it with water it was like nothing had happened.

Fantastic pictures! Like seriously, I can't pick a favorite, lol.

What type of Frisbees are those? They look very sturdy! Blaze can pop a frisbee in .5 seconds, so those look like they might stand up better.

Jealous! Sawyer has never quite gotten "the point" to Frisbees and prefers to let them hit the ground, then pick them up and run away.

It's been way too long since you've posted pics of your beauties Great to see them.

Lizmo, they are the triple crown easy glider frisbees. They are actually made of foam so they are soft on the dogs' mouths. I bought one last summer thinking it wouldn't last, but I bought a few more because it has held up really well. They all have bite marks on them, but no chunks have been taken out and they still fly fine.

I will also endorse the "Jawz" brand frisbee. It's a pliable plastic frisbee, but they last really well too. Not quite as easy to get a good throw on them as the easy gliders, but something to use if you are wanting to train for frisbee comps.
