Should I be worried?? This has been going on for weeks now.

In the evening, Kena gets very vocal and demands to be fed. He punches his bowl around, he yells at it, be yells at me, he stomps around the whole house throwing a fit sometimes.

When I feed the dogs, I lay his bowl down first, in the kitchen. He then follows me around as I feed Mochi and Cricket, like he wants their food instead. Then, he'll go get his bowl and carry it into the living room, dropping kibble all over the place. After that, he'll either bring it up onto the couch or take it onto my bed and curl up next to it. Sometimes he will protect his bowl (not fiercely or anything) from the others. He won't eat his dinner though. Most of the time, at least. He will eat it in the morning, or he'll eat somebody else's leftovers. He's so weird about it. I have tried feeding him in the morning, but he's not any more interested.

Sometimes it seems like he won't eat for a day or two at a time. He worries me. He's SOOO lean and skinny looking. He seems to have plenty of energy and enjoys his morning run and his time at the dog park. I feel like I should take him to the vet, but I don't even know what they would be looking for!

Any ideas?? :(

that seems really strange. I would DEF bring him to the vet, or at least call them and talk to them over the phone.

Is he pooping normally? Any chance this could be a blockage? Will he eat other food, like treats?

That's pretty strange. Do you think he could just be tired of his food? There was a point where my dog would not eat as much because he didn't like his food that much. He wouldn't ever stop eating completely, but he would take a couple of "bites" of his kibble food and just walk away. I haven't had this problem since switching to Taste of the Wild though. What brand food are you currently using?

He's still pooping fine, and will readily eat MY food, or treats.

He might be bored of his food. I'll try another food tonight, and if he's still acting like a weirdo, I'll call the vet.

I may also take a video of him pitching his fits and punching his bowl around the house, because it's pretty funny. :p (although I don't feel comfortable laughing because he may be sick.)

just updating this....

I switched the poochies back to a raw diet, and Kena is happily gobbling his dinner now. :)

I think he was tired of his Orijen kibble!

LOL... he's such a Husky. :)

Gonzo doesn't refuse to eat, but when he gets kibble, he sniffs it and looks up at me like... "where's the GOOD stuff?" Fozzie is a Hoover, on the other hand.
