Hmmmmmm...totally just realized that I never got the 100% okay from my landlord to go to a month to month lease. And that my current lease legally ended in January. Oops.

I don't know why she *wouldn't* let me go to a month to month lease. When I signed the lease last summer she was understanding of our predicament and said she wouldn't mind extending the lease as it's hard to find new tenants in the middle of winter. But that's not the same as a month to month lease.

She hasn't contacted me and asked why the heck I'm still here, so I'm hoping that's a positive sign. LOL I just hope I don't soon find out I'm homeless. o_O

I'm not a big drinker, but I have had a crazy craving for a mimosa for like 3 weeks. :p

I think my workout partner is getting a crush on me. Which means he's being super nice instead of "Come on you wussy, finish this set! You got this!"

I need to workout with someone who will motivate me to kick my own ass. At least I made him hate his life during the ab workout.

Cleaning with that moonshiners show on just for noise and my mom tells me my great grandpa "was sent to the pen" for it when my grandma was young! Lol! Hadn't heard that one yet.

Ha ha never going to happen. I am picky as heck. I am working with a custom jeweller and will be going into the city with my girlfriends next weekend. I am hoping to get ideas then.
If you are designing it yourself isn't that like giving yourself a ring? My husband would have probably told me to go ahead and pay for it myself too. :rofl1:

I've found out about some family history by "accident" and yeah, sometimes it makes you stop and wonder. Ahh, family....can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em, right? :)

Not really ..my dream proposal is with an empty ring box. I love my boyfriend. I don't love his taste in rings LOL.

I picked out my ring, basically because my husband thinks they are stupid lol. But many many people pick out their own. The ring is something you are going to (hopefully) wear a long time so it should be something you really like and have input on.

Umm...obviously you tell your friends the kind of ring you want (or the exact ring) and your fiance asks them
My friends are already really well versed on what I like/want for the day a future boyfriend asks :rofl1:

but I would never want to be a part of the process or know before he even asks...
but then again I like surprises and the whole proposal thing, to each their own!

I don't really 'get' diamonds (the "rarity", the price etc..)
but if I didn't

I also really like raw diamonds

rings yay!

This is what my friend did LOL. actually she printed some stuff out and then stuck it in his hunting magazines. SUBTLE HINT

I like surprises too. I actually don't want a ring anyway, can't wear 'em. So the conversation will have to take place DON'T BUY ME A RING. IF YOU DO JUST GET ONE OUT OF A GUMBALL MACHINE BECAUSE I WON'T WEAR IT.

Well, its one thing if you like surprises and want a big romantic proposal. For us, it was more conversation and deciding to move forward. If you already know you are engaged, and you LIKE being part of the process, you should be. If you want to be surprised, you should be ;)

This is me as well. I just don't wear rings. I've tried... Just can't. Thankfully hubby totally understands and isn't offended that I don't wear my wedding ring. We got married pretty "on the fly" lol and the "stock" rings didn't fit me so I grabbed a plastic diamond ring from the costume jewelry section lol and I wore that thing for months as my practice ring lol. I still have it :)

Hubby knows that if he spent thousands on a ring I wouldn't be thrilled... That money could send us on a trip to disney lol

I always wear a ring. My SO got me this beautiful silver ring a few years ago at a summer festivale and I ALWAYS wear it, unless I'm at puppy class... because crazy young dogs.
So on Sunday I forgot my ring at my parents, and my hand feels soooo empty. So now I'm wearing another ring to compensate because it feels sooo empty. :p
