Too many people throw around the word "hate", IMO. Nowadays, people "hate" the weather, they "hate" their new teacher, they "hate" the shirt the neighbor is wearing, etc. I think everyone should try to really think about what it really means to "hate".

I can see that it ticked you off, because "hate" is a pretty strong word. And then saying that she never wrote it- immature. But you should just forget about it and be the bigger person. Just don't care what she thinks about things that YOU like. YOU like them, that's the most important thing!

I think she wrote hate originally because she was making it known her opinion of evenescence... and then being at a bible study and all... she probably felt a little guilty using the word hate. Most people consider hate a very strong word. She sounds like she was wanting to forget the fact she used such a strong word when she crossed it out and wrote dislike above it.

Personally, I think it is nothing more than typical teenage stuff. It's just a word.. not big deal. Let it roll off your shoulder.

Chloe... you are stewing on this. You have to let it go, you're not getting anything good out of harboring these angry feelings about the incident that really isn't a big deal. Spend your energy on something more productive. Try and forget about it and put it behind you. It's just a word... that's all. Whether she said it or didn't say it... really doesn't matter. Now go find something fun to do and just forget about it.. that's an order!
