sniff...I wish you could have seen all my windowboxes this year. actually, I missed them myself due to being unable to walk outside in my cast. (Dave showed me pictures...ya..kinda sad) but this is the waning impatiens on the garden house windowbox..soo pretty still, but will be taken down due to the sudden cold temps. I was at least able to hobble outside to take this pic from the back porch. and say good-bye til next year!

trading flowers for pumpkins. ye gads..I feel old man winter fast approaching. we've had the woodstove going the last three nights! til next year....

This was the first year I had a nice little flower garden and a vegetable garden. I'm sad to see those go... but I am not sad to see summer gone lol. this summer was way too hot for my liking. Even Hannah didn't want to play at the playground most days because it was too hot.

I'm loving fall (other than this rain we've been getting). Love sitting here in the evening with the windows open and a nice warm blanket to snuggle with on the couch

Very pretty flowers sorry you didn't get to see too much of them

we sure have been WET and COLD the past 3 days. I swear I am a big sissy these days, cause I would have just died if we couldn't have had a fire. LOL.

old people....LOL....guess I'm one of them. but then again, sitting back in your recliner in front of the fire isn't a bad thing...is it?!!!! :) :)

The tomatoes seem determined to deny the change here. The vines are FULL of huge green tomatoes waiting to get ripe. I'm not going to miss summer, but I am going to miss those tomatoes.
