You were loved and adored, and looked so good on my face.:cry:
Titus ate my prescription sunglasses this morning.:( Thank you very much Titus. That's only $350.00, no big deal. As long as he had fun, that is what is important. We may have to down grade to cheap old roy dog biscuits, but if sunglasses taste that good, he shouldn't notice the difference. *evil smile*

I guess he's going to be like his dad, Brutus ate my glasses when he was about Tidybutts age.

I think all puppies should be shipped off to boarding school until they are at least 2, when the teenage years have slowed down and all teeth are pretty much in. Or. . . they could be born at that age, yeah that's it, all puppies should be born at the age of 2.

Um, I feel your pain but--dogs generally like Old Roy biscuits. Fast food syndrome, y'know?

Well.........it could be worse, he could have eaten your sunglasses, then had your cell phone for dessert! hahahaha

Just kidding (I hope he doesn't read this and get ideas  )

RIP sunglasses, you will be missed by at least one person! LOL

my sunglasses were on the end table. That seems to be our new trouble spot, he also munched on $8.00 Keith had left there.

Today when I got home, the bag of animal crackers were in the middle of the floor in the study. They were, on the Kitchen cabinet when I left. That almost seems more like Cleo, there was half of the bag left. She always finds something of mine, or something that I had touched receently and pulls it down and lays by it when I am gone.

Back to square one. . .

Or he could have eaten your $400 glasses (which you are blind without) AND one of your $70 a piece hard contacts, which you are also blind without......and a sock that he then vomited back up two days later....all in one night (we now double lock that cabinet)....

I feel your pain--it sucks having a dog that eats the non-edible.....

have to ask....did you leave them someplace where a curious pup would find them? :)
There are very few places that are out of the reach of a determined adolescent Fila, lol.

Kharma went through, oh, probably half a dozen remotes. Didn't touch the batteries. The only way to save them was to hide them someplace -- when she wasn't looking. If she saw where you put it, she'd get it. She'd get my bras out of the drawer. Never chewed anything of mine up, just dragged it around and slept with it. Charley's remotes she destroyed :rofl1:

At least it was just your glasses. My neighbor put her dentures down on the table and the dog thought they were the best chew toys ever. Needless to say, my neighbor went without teeth for awhile!

omy! that is too funny Barb. Sorry about your sunglasses. They do tend to go after anything that most smells like you, I could see glasses fit that. Dentures too!

Boy, he is on a roll. He was munching down on my sofa table. Looks like he is cutting new teeth, time for a trip to the butcher for more bones.

It is good to know Titus is not the only dog that eats socks, then pukes them up. He did that twice, finally hubby quit throwing his dirty socks on the floor.

That is hilarious about the teeth, Barb.

THat would scare me to pieces to know a dog ate a sock. I have heard such horrid surgery stories.

Some bitter apple spray would come in real handy for furniture, and until he stops it, I might have supervised freedom only.

The gel sure has worked for even my most hard core chewers. I copious cover any exposed electrical cord that cannot be moved and such. If I had furniture I would not want damaged the gel would be too thick, and if they spray didn't work, there would be nothing to do but leash up until we learn what we can, and what we cannot chew on.

You know, I learned this lesson pretty quickly when I had Jazz here. That dang dog was not only counter surfing (without having to even stand up ), but when she did get on her hind legs, she realized that all those cabinets above the counter were within reach....as soon as she could master getting that knobbydohickey in her mouth and opening the door. Oh, lemme tell you, she was mastering that reallllly fast. I can only imagine the damage.............

Brutus was terrible about opening my oven door, and getting ice from the ice dispenser on the refrigerator door. He finally quit both, don't remember what stopped him from the oven, but he hit the water instead of the ice one day and it shot him in the eye. Now he waits until I give him some...well, he kinda noses, the ice latch thingy, but not very hard. I handed ice to Cleo and Titus by opening the door.

What has always freaked me out, tho...is when Brutus gets the back door open. It is kinda spooky. It will be months and nothing, then, one day, the door will be open and he will be outside. I usually keep the dead bolts on becuase of him. Cleo and Titus have both tried opening the door with their noses, but so far, knock on chewed up wood, they haven't been able to get it turned enough to open it.

But, this is also the dog that honked the horn when I was in the store to long. Brutus put the monster, in the words Fila monster that is for sure.

Titus hasn't been a destructive puppy, he has really been very good. I guess now that he is 8 months old he is going to make up for lost tearing up time. I'm keeping Him in the room where I am at, which isn't hard, he is playing with Cleo atm. They are rolling around on the floor being silly.
