I haven't been on in a long time and I'm not sure if anyone remembers me or chief. Chief was my Giant Schnauzer that I adopted and I was having some troubles with my aunt who my parents where letting stay with us. Well chief didn't like my aunt, I think since she was mean to me, and my aunt didn't like him so I was trying to keep them seperated and most of the time it worked. well my aunt was suppose to leave a while ago but she didn't she said something about her plans falling through or something, not really sure what stupid excuse she fed to my parents and not really interested in finding out. Anyways I haven't been on cause I was staying away from my aunt and keeping chief occupied and everything was going fine. Chief was awesome! He was pig headed sometimes, but otherwise was an awesome dog I really loved him. But I screwed up and now he's dead.
One day I was outside with Chief playing with him and my dad told me him and my mom were going to the store and that they would be back in a little bit and try to be nice to my aunt (they seem to think I'm the one starting things....they think it's my age I guess) so I said fine and went back to playing outside with chief. I really loved playing with him........he would beat me in every race we ran....hehehe. We'll I went inside to get a drink and take a break from running around and things. My aunt was inside and she was just being snotty and we got into a bit of an argument and she grabbed my arm cause I was waving it around like angry jestures and I didn't even think about Chief being there and he thought she was hurting me so he growled and then grabbed her arm. It was my fault I should've remembered to bring him outside cause he is protective of me, but I didn't and my aunt freaked out and said he was a dangerous dog and her arm was bleeding and when my parents got home my aunt said he attacked her and that he was viscous and needed to be put to sleep and my parents talked and said they couldn't take the chance of him biting anyone and had him put to sleep. I told them it was my fault and that he was just protecting me but they said they couldn't take the chance.
It's my fault that he was PTS.....I don't know if I want another dog anymore. If I can't prevent things like this happening with another dog I don't want to have another dog PTS because of my mistakes. He was PTS two weeks ago and I don't have a running partner anymore, I can't play with anyone or toss a ball.
Rest In Peace Chief.
