I came across a recipe a while back for oven fried chicken where you use instant potato flakes to coat prior to putting in the oven. I can't remember if the chicken was rolled in egg first, or what. I have tried searching, but my pokey dial-up is giving me misery. I do know it's instant flakes and not 'buds', and I have garlic herb in the pantry. I know..sounds so gorey with tons of calories, right? well...that's what I'm craving today! LOL has anyone ever heard of this? if you can help me get my craving in check...THANKS. guess I could always just try coating in egg, but I'd sure hate to mess it up. it may be coated in mayo first (I KNOW..MORE ICK..LOL!)
