I've got some pics from the car accident. The car doesn't look as bad as I thought it would, but still don't know yet if its fixable or affordable to even fix.

Looks like it's mostly just body damage. There may be a little frame damage to the rear, but it's hard to tell with my untrained eye. The alignment is off which is to be expected from a lot of accidents. The exhaust pipe may need to be fixed. I probably need a new radiator. Definitely need new bumpers. The engine looked pushed back a little. They may total my car for that, but we'll see.

Here's some pictures.

ya I received it Nolu and responded so maybe my response was the one that was eaten lol. My phone isn't working so your mom wont be able to call, but I'd still like to speak with her. Are you guys planning on being in the area anytime soon? Bamm wants another play date and it's been hard for me to take him to the tennis courts to really do any work with him with my back hurting. He's been getting his walks and a few balls thrown for him at home, poor little guy. He seems to know I'm still hurting though and has been a real champ hanging out with me except his jumping on people has gotten worse this past week, oh boy.

oh ya... I love this car by the way. You guys have no idea. I've ALWAYS wanted a honda and this one was absolutely the perfect car for me. I'm devastated and really want more than anything to be able to repair it... I just hope that if it's repairable then somehow I'll be able to come up with the money to fix it. Fat chance though I'm sure.

It was $760 to get it out of the tow lot... YIKES!

Not that one, lol, but I sent you another one Saturday that appears to have been eaten. I hadn't seen you post and was worried.

We'll be in town next Saturday I think? My mom usually has errands to run and we're overdue for a costco trip, so I'm sure she'd be happy to pawn her annoying, whiny daughter off on you so she can do errands in peace. :D (She assures me that she loves me, but on shopping trips I'm a real PITA and I can't seem to help it.. I'm sure she'll be relived.) I also might be able to drop by some afternoon this week around 3:30-4... just depends on how things go...

Iknow how it feels to have a car you love get damaged.. mine was destroyed so badly it would have cost more than the car was worth to get it repaired, and my parents just bought a new one instead.. I can't even tell you how much I cried. I still miss that Windstar. It was my baby. :( I really hope your car is easily and cheaply repairable.

hows your whip lash..you sure got it coming and going. In my emt class they told us the head is a 16 lb bowling ball on a broom stick. THat is why accidents like this are soooooooo bad . Awful sorry, was a pretty car too.

ya it definitely was a pretty car. The whiplash is annoying. It hurts the most when I first wake up. The vicadin makes me so sleepy. I finally go back to work tomorrow and I'm worried because I see myself taking my medication and then falling asleep at work. That wont be too good. My lower back has started hurting really bad too.

Aww.. I just asked her and she said it sounded great, so we'll be there sometime Saturday. I'll let you know Friday or Thursday what time I'll be there. Want me to bring some kitty kibble as treats? It's wellness and absolutely stinks, lol, and I bet he' never had it before.. so it could be a hit.

I am glad that you got out of that without serious injuries! Holy smokes! Be careful with the vicodin and driving and such.... and 760 bucks to get your car out?! That IS insane! I hate how NoVa is so expensive... was it Henry's?! They suck.

Nope it wasn't Henry's thank god. It was actually Willow Springs whom I've decided to boycott from here on out since they were so rude and lied to us twice and made an extra $150 because they lied. They told my dad they could take his credit card information over the phone since I have no money and he lives in California and couldn't be present to pay to get my car out. Brendan and I get there and they tell us that they never told my Dad that. So my dad and the lady behind the desk got into a huge screaming match over the phone which was akward.

Then they tell my dad and us that they're closed on the weekend and since it was friday that meant I couldn't get my car until Monday. I was irritated that they would charge me the $50 a day when they're closed, but whatever. So... I show up yesterday to get my car (they charged my for yesterday too). They then tell me that they're open 24/7. But wait... they had told me they were closed over the weekend. Another lady says, "Oh Tracy never told you that. She said we were open 24/7 and I was standing right there when she told you that." The hell she did. She clearly told me that they were closed on the weekends. They clearly told my dad that as well since he called me upset about that we would have to pay extra money since we couldn't get it out until Monday.

Cha Ching... that's an extra $150 to them...

I'm not driving right now. I don't have a vehicle to drive. Today is my first day back at work and my coworker Tim had to pick me up. The Vicadin makes me pass out so I'm trying my best to get through this day without it because I can't pass out at work. Still... my back is in a lot of pain so I may just work a little longer, take the pill and then take a nap in the breakroom or something.

Aww.... Skittle... can't you stay home another day or maybe just for this week? You should really be resting!

I really hate tow companies. My car got towed once when I parked at my husbands apartment... I had a visitor thingy up on my mirror... and since I have a Jeep, I didn't lock the doors (doesn't make sense, if someone wants to break in my car, they just have to slice the window open, lol)... I swear the tow guy pulled it off and said he didn't see it, it must have fallen off. There's no way. Since then I always locked my car when I parked there. But yeah.... maybe you can annoy them and call them or try to talk to the boss there. Maybe contacting the BBB? Just so you can get at least the $150 back.

Tow lots can be the biggest jackholes EVER. Hell, you could rent a motel room and park your car THERE for less than $50 a day . . .

Now, the damage doesn't look all that bad. Will probably be kind of expensive to get the parts, though, unless you do some of your own legwork and run parts down at a junkyard. I'll bet Joce can give you some help there :)

There are frame straightening machines now that do a great job - can even straighten a big Mercedes sedan to within seconds of the factory tolerances, and Mercedes factory tolerances aren't all that tolerant ;)

So, there's hope, Skittle . . . And, if the motor IS pushed back and it's FUBAR-ed things under the hood too badly, there's always the possibility of finding one that someone has totaled out that's been T-boned and going about it that way.

Glad you weren't hurt any worse, but do keep an eye on those injuries and DO NOT SIGN OFF ON ANYTHING. Back and neck (and head) injuries can take a long time to fully manifest, and if you've signed off, you're screwed.

During the day, you might want to try those stick on heating pads for the back pain. It might make it possible for you to need a lot less of the pain meds.

I'm definitely going to contact the BBB and file a complaint against this towing company. They were so slimey and deceitful.

I wish I could stay home this week, but I don't know how much medical leave I have left and I can't afford to lose any money especially since I'm going to have to pay so much because of this accident. It sucks.
