Ok, see with your preggo brain, I totally win. :D

Especially with that quote of yours... ^

Tosca... here we were trying to have fun and you went and got serious on us...

We are indeed responsible for everything we say and it takes a lot of humble pie for a being to be able to admit when they are incredibly wrong and apologize, such as I did with mrose.

Mrose, if you read this, I certainly hope there are no ill feelings left from that thread, I feel that I explained myself to you and that we came to an understanding.

Now... where's my chocolate?
MMMMM chocolate.... now THERE is a word I can understand lol.

I'm afraid with my preggo brain the BABY is has a higher IQ than I do hahaha.

Ever seen that show "are you smarter than a 5th grader" Well I can definately say.... I am NOT. :D

i have experience with this sort of political correctness. where i used to livei'm just saying, honestly, call it whatever you want but the idea behind, the basic understanding is that of stopping animal suffering. no matter what way you talk about it. its the same thing. sure some people may go about it the wrong way, but why not go on and educate those people instead of arguing about the politically correct way to say things?
Then after we stop worrying about how to phrase things and ignore the images that certain groups have created for terms like Animal Rights instead of animal wellfare, we can all jump on the bus to magical fairy land.

Images and actions of a group going by that title are going to be associated with it and the best way to get away from that sort of image is to refer to yourself as being something different and separate. You might have a very similar agenda however it won't be percieved as such as you've managed to earn yourself a very different reputation. This topic in itself should be enough proof of that fact that the Animal Rights community is not very well respected or liked as compared to the Animal Welfare community.

EDIT: OOPS!! It's Sharky X, Jenn was logged on and I didnt log her out before I posted :p sorry for the confusion.

That has really got to be very uncomfortable!
You're telling me...

Ah well maybe if I had been smarter from not eating so much meat my whole life I'd be able to differentiate between these things...

Ah well I'd rather be uncomfortable with my side of bacon then comfortable with a side of... soy something or other that you eat instead...

We are responsible for everything we say in this world. We reap the consequences as well as the consolations. When we don't care what we say, we can expect to hear from those we say it to....in like and kind.

"This is something you have a problem with it seems
and then split them apart and try to prove some delusional vision that YOU have?!!"

See above comment from me. And this kind of toxic remark is the reason you receive the kind of responses you see on this board. If you are going to dish it out, you had damned well better be able to take it. People might eventually forget what you say, but they will NEVER forget how you made them feel.
My only comment here: YOU were the one who first accused ME to be delusional (via your lovely poetic sarcasm) so, YOU my dear are the initiator of that comment.

MadsMom, a person's ability to speak their mind is not lost when they gain the "mod" title. I do not think BP is out of line any more than you are. So if you're calling her out of line, please take a good look at the tone in your own posts.
Moderator=Mediator, which is one who settles disputes NOT causes them-- and certainly not one that keeps agitating things.

I'm done with this---here, I'll do it for you "YAY YIPPEEEE SHE'S OUTTA HERE!!"

Sparks, I wish I had time, but then again, I really don't want to waste my energy and/or time as the past has shown it to be useless.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!:)

OK good... you are done with arguing.... so let's all get the knots out of our knickers and carry on with this lovely women's underwear discussion this thread has suddenly taken on.

HAHA there was really no pun intended with the knickers thing and the womens underwear. I swear it, I just lucked out.

Poor Sparks, bringing another meat eater into this world. You are a contributory cause to world hunger, all existing metabolic, infectious and systemic illnesses(identified and yet to be identified), carpal tunnel, PMS and cavities.

Have a nice day!:lol-sign:
