I went into town this morning to the feed store and brought Stinker with my my Agouti colored Sibe. At my feed store animals are alowed inside and I take up on it I figure its a good way to socialize my dogs when their pups.

Anyways I was in there and i hear a man tell his wife to be careful that my dog was an Akita mix. Now I understand MOST people do not know Siberian Huskies range in others out side of black, white, red, and grey. So I turned around and said "no actually he is a purebred Siberian Husky" and he kinda chuckles and goes "i think I know what a Husky looks like and that is NOT a Husky ". So I rolled my eyes and told him I would know I bred his dam and sire and I KNOW what im talking about.

But he refused to admit he was wrong and told me STILL that Stinker was a akita mix when I bred his parents! Sometimes people can be such idiots.

You could be like, "I've been breeding Siberian Huskies for 30 years, I think I know what I'm talkin about." And that guy's probably seen one Akita in his whole life and thinks he knows everything about everydog.

Oh man! The ignorance if some people!!!!!!! I getOC mistken a lot for a wolf, and sometimes a malamute but not an akita yet. Oh ya and people tell me he's a malamute/husky because both his eyes aren't blue :S

I like to kill them with kindness and sarcasm. Maybe say something like, "Oh, I see you are not very educated about Siberian Huskies and their standard! May I suggest {such and such} website... or suggest {such and such} book so you can read up on the breed before making such statements? I'll write it down for you!" Then start rummaging through your purse looking for something to write on and then check out their expression!

once when i was doing an artist market downtown in KC..a man well dressed with his daughter (around 10 yrs old) walked past each display with a snide remark or put down for each and every artist..he came to me and he said make any money doing your HOBBY.and i said well sir, i raise my children and pay my bills..i mean what a dang creep making himself look "big" pity his kid...i run into people like this all the time pits they must have special jerk training school some where for they are all the same.
