I am new and not sure where the proper spot for this would be, but since it is not about dogs I am thinking here??

I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has for pets besides dogs? I have several levels of the food chain here:

1 Hamster, Rufus...
1 Domestic Rat, Zoe

2 Turtles, Bart & Bart Jr ( Original eh?)
1 Gecko, Ziggy

2 Parrots...
Congo African Grey: Kenny
Citron Cockatoo: Dixie

3 Cats...
Denny, aka Nuts cause hes a bit crazy

BB, rescued kitten, had been abandoned at the landfill as about a week old kitten

Hope, She showed up at my husbands shop one afternoon, skinny, scared and hurt, we took her to the vet where both back legs were injured and infected, she needed a ton of stitches as she had been grabbed by something before we found her. She is a lucky little gal to be alive.

I thought I'd include a couple of Pictures, not of everyone that'd be too many and I'd love to see pictures of yours!!!

LOL.... Hmmmmm never thought about the Hubby or kids:yikes:... I have a Hubby as well as two teens, a 16 year old boy, Jonah and a 17 year old girl, Jennifer... I have to say I cannot complain about the kids as they each take some of the pets as theirs to look after.. I will truly miss their help when they move out, though Jennifer says she`s taking Max and her cats with her when she moves out!!!

The thing is even though the Turtles, Gecko and Foster are looked after by Jonah and Jen cares for Max and the Cats, I have to plan on keeping them all their whole lifes because the kids will grow up and move out and best intentions aside they will likely not be able to take their pets with them, if they are ready and able thats great ( Though I`d struggle letting my kids and some of the pets go all at once:( ) So I always plan my limits as if the kids were moved out and I had to care for them by myself....

Well aside from the 7 dogs + 1 foster
I have 6 horses + 1 boarded horse. Horses are:
Velvet (17 year old andalusian arab cross)
Peek (6 year old big pinto thing)
Aven (rising 4 year old worlds smallest swedish warmblood)
Chance (5 year old son of velvet 1/2 welsh pony)
Riven (OMG i don't remember her age... gorgeous Irish thoroughbred and mom to Aven)
Bailey (6 year old off the track thoroughbred)

Riven and Bailey are going to have foals soon, so I will be up in the horse department.

Well... hhmm. Let's see.

I have the 6 dogs: Zoey, Bella, Sasha, Tinker Bell, Gyp, and Morrie.
7 cats: Jewl, Kitty, Moo, Sock, Kizzy, Niko, and Lex.
9 horses and a pony: Jessie, Freckles, Ari, Bronwyn, Rex, Maggie, Sable, Charlie, Shamus, and Katie.
15 odd goats, won't get into names.
And about 10 sheep.
Also, 3 rabbits: Simi, Sisi, and Acheron (Ack-er-on)
And I'm pretty sure that's all.

In case you didn't guess, we live on a farm! :p

Some assorted fish....
Three crested geckos. Gecko, Gecko and Gecko too (never let a 2 year old name pets). The geckos are great border collie entertainment too (although I know they'd be a snack if he could get them).:yikes:

4 goldfish That all still have no names. They were a christmas present for my daughter. My dauguter Rebecca is 4 years old and My hubby James. I think the husband is the hardest to take care of out of all the pets.

We just have the dogs and a 4 year old female mosaic chinchilla named Scout.

She's a tubby girl. huge for a chinchilla. I don't know, she's the pickiest chin when it comes to eating and she has a really thick coat.

See, she looks massive:

She's a good girl. loves to play with the little dogs. Nikki seems to think she's her baby or her charge or something and obsesses over her. must be a herding dog thing, lol.

Hummm, I have lots of birds inhouse and outside. Chickens all over, I have 2 Pea Hens and 6 Pea Cocks, 3 Congos, 1 Ozzy, 1 Ferret, 1 cat, 2 Goats, 9 domestic rabbits that don't like to be caged.. I'm an Eagle nut so I have to keep them fed good or they would kill everything else running around outside. They are better mousers than cats actually, that's why I only ever have 1 cat.
I'm down to 12 free range Buffalo, about 67 cattle, 18 corraled horses at home, maybe 20 free range and 9 at Race Tracks.
My son loves parranas so he has a school of 6 in his room. My pond is a fish and lilly pimper outside and over loaded with Koi and lillies, I have to run an add every year for people to come take water lillies and koi outta there for free.
It's all good and fun though.

I'll show ya a few pictures too.

I could be here for ever showing pictures ...
