Off to Talladega!

Hunter's snuggled in here next to me and his pal Chip. Being a Mommy, I'm always relieved when she's home safe and sound. I'll be watching the race with her in my heart. I've only been to the race here in Indy a couple of times. If any of you do come for the 500 or the Brickyard I can sleep 6 (if you cuddle !) I can hear the roar of engines from my patio which always gives me chills. Love it 1
Well, yesterday Hunter was a riot !! He and Chip were in the 4 runner going with Grammy to the store. Windows were 3/4 th closed as I don't trust Hunter trying to jump out. A funeral procession was approaching being led by a motor cycle with siren... a longggggggggggggg line of cars with 3 more cyles. Yup ! We pull over and Hunter started howling with the approached of the first and didn't stop until we moved on....at least 4 minutes. I'm sure he must have made some in the long line smile as he sang to them. Went about a mile and here came another !! That one only had 2 sirens, so didn't take as long as he sang to them too. He sure has a high pitch " whoooooooooooooooooooo " !!!

What a GREAT RACE and a big time... and MY GUY WON! (#24 Jeff Gordon). Good time had by all including my Hunter with his symphony of WOOOO-IES, it sounds like! I came home with red mud on my tires, and a good meal from my Mom. Getting ready to settle into bed with my Hunter for a good night's sleep before getting up for work to start the whole daily process over again. Oh, but I get my -ex's dog starting tomorrow night. Annie the "lab". Long story, I may start a thread on her tomorrow or something. She's a sweet girl. He's going out of town for a few days, but the way he got her is kind of my doing ;-)
