No SS present

A little bummed. I have never recieved the other half of my postal SS present, which would've been Lucas' gifts My SS was MomOf7 and I sent her a PM, but no reply. So I'm a little bummed about that. *sigh*

I also need to go out and get Lucas a new brush, I lost his other ones and he looks rather .... pathetic lol

THat is so weird. Maybe was lost in the mail. Our mailman/postoffice coudln't find their own behinds if someone pointed it out. I get mail that has the right house number, but wrong EVERYTHING ELSE i kid you not. IF i want to make sure i received something from someone i send them Mom's address.

I would just get one..the get misplaced all the time, it wouldn't hurt to have two. See why i have dogs that have almost no hair! Victor's winter coat consists of these tiny little fine clumps of hair on his neck underside only...little tiny v's that wouldn't keep anything warm.

I had one, but it is now killed. It is having some issues with the gears and I can't drive it, so it's pretty much useless to me. So I'm going to have to look for a better car now.

Well, I'm sorry that you didn't get your ss gift either. I just don't understand some people... it doesn't make sense. I hate to say it but it SEEMS as though SOME people agreed to participate just so they could get a gift and never planned on carrying out their part of the whole thing.

Maybe those of us who never got our gifts had secret santa's that had some really good reason not to send us our gift.. but at least tell us.... don't just ignore it and act like it was never an issue.

Like I said in a previous thread.. I would totally understand if someone was unable to get my gift even though they agreed to participate... I just want an explanation.. that's all.

So, I wonder if it's just us 3 that haven't received anything , or if they're are more.

I just check my " sent " site and my ss did pick up theirs from me . Just hasn't acknowleged here . It wasn't much , but the best a Grammy could do !

Grammy... it's not the cost of the gift or even the amount of gifts you sent.... the fact is that you made a commitment and you followed through with it. And it truly is the thought that counts. i would have even been happy if my secret santa made the effort to send me a christmas card if they couldn't afford to send me a gift after all. And for people not to say a simple thank you when they got their gift is just plain rude. There is no excuse for that. I'm glad the person I bought for liked my gifts and she thanked me very much for them. It made me smile

I think it sucks that you signed up for something....followed thru, and then didn't get a darn thing in return......
I know that is not the point, but when you really are excited about receiving something, it is a downer when you realize it isn't going to come.

especially if you don't even know who your PSS or OSS was.....

Maybe next year it should'nt be secret....maybe the organizer can just trade names and ALL the participents be listed in a thread...
Or let it be secret and like a week after christmas the organizer should have a "big" reveal so we all can see who has who....
